<Elmo’s POV>

“DOUBLE TIME! DOUBLE TIME!”

“Yung lights, ready na ba?!”

“Lahat ng props and musics, prepared na?”

“Yes direk!”

“Opo direk! We are in standby!”

Narinig ko ‘yong mga staffs na nagmamadali sa labas. I faced the mirror then I went outside para silipin ‘yong mga tao.

Wow, sure there are a lot of fans. Napuno kaagad ‘yong venue sa MOA.

“Moe, Moe”

I looked on my right side.

“Frank”

“Good luck bro”

“Thanks”

“Make dad proud”

“I will, Frank”

I gave him a high-five.

Pumasok ako sa kabilang dressing room at kinuha ‘yong in-ear ko pero nadatnan ko doon si Nicole.

“Elmo”

“Nicole”

Tinignan kami nung mga staff sa loob and one-by-one, they went outside hanggang sa kami na lang ni Nicole and naiwan.

“Can you hear me?” I nodded. “I’m sorry”

“Nicole-“

“Look, it’s my fault. I admitted it already. I know you know that it’s me but I’m begging you Moe, at least forgive me” She’s looking at me directly in the eyes. “I know it’s wrong but I don’t know what’s wrong with loving someone. At least, I loved you for the past years kahit pa alam ko na you never loved me back but, but it’s fine with me. It’s really fi-” Bigla kong yinakap si Nicole until I felt her tears.

“Don’t cry. I will be hurt, sige ka. Thank you fo the love. Thanks for being my temporary partner and thank you for taking care of me, Nicole. “

“Moe-”

“At least, there’s the part of me who tried to love you. Thank you, Nicole” Mas humigpit ‘yong hawak ko sa kanya. Ngayon ko lang nayakap si Nicole ng ganito katagal. I want to give her love back through this hug. Kahit ito man lang sana ang magawa ko for her.

“Oo nga, bakit ko pa ba tinanong?” Umupo sa tabi ko si Jae. He get his phone and took a picture with me. “I’ll post this later. Going back, bakit ko pa nga ba tinanong? Eh AMA’s artist of the year ‘yong kaharap ko”
