It’s just my second flight at aalis pa ako and will not be back for a long time.

“Home sweet home!”

I put on my earphones as soon as they arrived. “Hey, welcome back” I said it with no excitement at all.
“Uwi muna ako and I’ll say hi to my dad. Babalik na lang ako maybe tomorrow”
“Ok” Pwede namang hindi na siya bumalik at all.
“You sound so reluctant. I hate it”
“What do you want? Do you want me to become excited? I’m not thrilled at all”
“Elmo look, kadadating lang namin. Ayokong makipag-away. I’ll go ahead”
Bumalik ako sa paglalaro ng tab ko. I hugged the pillow beside me.
“Moe-“
“Mom” I kissed my mom’s cheek.
“What happened?”
“What do you mean?”
“It’s all over the news! What happened to Julie Anne?”
“She had her flight a while ago”
“Wow, so she really accepted it. Sayang because she already established herself here. Of course she’ll accept it. For fame and money
“What the-“ I stood up and put down the pillow. “Wala na si Julie dito so can we stop talking about her? Respect the person for me. Just please”
I locked myself in my room. I know this is the start of my boring days. The days without her.
