Chapter 46:The Plan

“Meron. Meron ng date si Julie. I am her date” Napatingin na lang ako kay Ash and I smiled at him. He saved me at this time

“Oo. May date na din ako. Si Ash. May soon-to-be-boyfriend”

“Then good. See you at the festival”

 

Umalis na sila sa harapan ko at napatingin ako kay Ash.

“Looks like he already met his fiancée” She paused for a while. “And it looks like masaya siya sa fiancée niya” Bakit ganoon?  Parang…parang nasampal ako ako sa sinabi niya.   “Ash-“

“Hmm?”

“Uuwi na ako”

“Are you alright?”

“I’m fine. Sige, bye”

“Bye”

Mukhang masaya naman siya pero ang kinagulat ko eh si Nicole ang fiancée niya. I didn’t see that coming. At parang masaya naman siya, sa fiancée niya.

<Ash’s POV>

“What fiancée?!?!?!?!”

“Man, are you sure? Hindi man lang niya sinabi sa atin!”

“It looks like Elmo doesn’t also know anything about it”

“Eh wala naman pa lang alam si Elmo eh. Anong ginawa niya? Ba’t niya sinabi ‘yon?”

I paused for a while and remembered what happened earlier. “So uhmm Julie, may date ka na? I hope meron na. I want to see at the ball with someone. May date na kasi ako. My fiancée, Nicole.”

Pati ako, nagulat sa sinabi niya. I thought he’s going to ask Julie as his date but I  was wrong.

“I’m aslo shocked. It’s not in my plan to ask Julie as my date but I just can’t afford-“ They all looked at me. “I can’t afford to see her like that. I just wanted to help her”

“Talaga? ‘Yon lang ba talaga ang intention mo Ash?”

“You like Julie, don’t you?”

“Yes I think I already like her pero hanggang doon na lang ‘yon because she’s sure of her feelings for a certain person” Kinuha ko ‘yong bag ko at pumunta doon sa pinto ng hang out room. “Kung may plano kayo sa festival na gumawa ng event para magkalapit ulit sila, then go with it. Don’t mind me. I will help in your plan”

After all, gusto ko lang naman ulit siyang makitang ngumiti ulit. Ever since they broke up, I am always observing her from a far and she’s unable to find her smile again. I wanted to make her smile…again.
