Another Disappointment

After dropping off Mariah we finally headed to the birthday party an entire hour late. When we arrived it was packed with cars at the large house. Leo and I walked up to the house together hand in hand to the back of the house where the party was located.

"Ayyy, look who finally decided to show up," A beautiful young female said giving Leo a hug.

"Wassup sis," He said giving her a hug, she looked over at me and then at Leo giving him a look.

"This my lady Rylee," He introduced her to me. "And bae this is my youngest sister Lacey," He introduced.

"It's nice to meet you," She smiled. "Come let me introduce you to the rest of the crew," She said leading us to a loud group who was clearly drinking.

"Everyone look who I found," Lacey said gaining their attention.

"Ayeee Leo!" His brother Levi smiled standing up dapping him up. "Your ass took forever just to look like this?" He joked examining Leo's outfit. Leo laughed dapping up his brother while the other females took this time to eye me.

"Everybody is my lady Rylee," I smiled politely receiving "heys" and smiles but one caught my attention the one who sipped her drink and didn't speak.

"Don't start Lauren," Leo warned clearly catching what I caught. She rolled her eyes and took a sip of her drink.

"Oh you came!" Lena smiled giving me a tight hug.

"It's good to see you. Happy Birthday," I smiled glad to see a familiar especially since Madison ditched me for some dick. 

I handed her the gift bag I forgot I was holding. "Thank you. You look amazing," She complimented.

"Thank you."

"Leo, we're going to steal her from you tonight," Lena said grabbing my hand.

"The hell you is. Y'all aint about to convert her already," he said causing them to laugh, I smiled.

"You can't blame us that's all you," Lena laughed leading me to the couch where the ladies were sitting off the side of the party.

"Baby," Leo said I lifted my eyes up to here. "I'll be back in a little bit," He said.

"Okay, have fun," I smiled waving bye, he blew me a playful kiss and I caught it. He smiled before walking away with his brother.

"Here you go," Lena said handing me a drink.  This might party was basically giving me a lounge vibe. They had food, drinks, and a little floor that had family and friends on it.

"How's it going with Leo?" Lena asked gaining the attention of his sisters and cousins I assumed.

"It's going in the right direction," I  nodded taking a sip of the tropical alcoholic drink.

"Good," She smiled.

"How did y'all meet?" Lauren his other sister spoke up, I lifted my eyes up to her knowing off the back she wasn't rocking with me.

"I'm a swim instructor and I teach Lena's children," I explained.

"Ohhh, so y'all met through Lena?" She asked giving Lena a knowing look.
