Another Disappointment

"Uncle L, you don't do anything with me and Mariah. You always with my mom, and that's not fair." Ryann pouted with Mariah who nodded agreeing. It was Sunday a week after his sister's birthday party.

"Woowww." I said lifting my head from Leo's covered chest in shock at my own daughter betraying me.

"It's true." Mariah shrugged sitting on the end of Leo's bed beside Ryann who was nodding at Mariah comment staring at us.

"It's that true, babe?" I questioned turning to Leo. He chuckled fixing his hand underneath his head. He was laying on my bed with me leaning against him.

"I'm not in this." He shook his head closing his eyes.

"Oh, so you're going to let them tag team me?" I asked tilting my head in confusion.

"Mama..."

"That's cool." I nodded shaking it off. "They can have your ass." I told him lifting my head off his chest, and laid on my pillow.

He opened his eyes, "Don't be like that." He chuckled reaching for my hand.

"Don't touch me." I said snatching my hand away from him.

"Now mommy's mad at me." Leo said turning to the girls.

"She'll be okay. She said we can have you." Ryann smiled laying beside me and laid her head on Leo chest where I was just located.

"What we doing today, daddy?" Mariah asked laying beside him on the other side of the bed across from Ryann.

"What y'all wanna do?" He asked looking between the two spoiled brats.

"Ummm.." They hummed in unison.

"We can go shopping." Mariah suggested.

"And see a movie." Ryann added.

"AND EAT FOOD!" They shouted in unison.

Greedy asses.

I laughed softly watching the little scene unfold trying not to get in my feelings. They were seriously excluding me on today's events but it was fine. They needed this time with Leo especially since his ass always working.

"Sounds like a plan. Go get ready and we'll head out." He answered. They cheered racing out his bedroom.

"She! Ryann hold up," He called her back while Mariah ran out the room.

"Yes?" She asked returning to him.

"Come here," he said patting the space beside him in the bed. She looked down at him with her bright intimating eyes.

"Me and your mom was talking," he said and she looked over at me confused before looking back at him. "And I was telling her how I really don't like being called Uncle Leo."

"What do you want me to call you?" she asked.

"What do you want me to call me?" He asked. She smiled thinking about it before leaning down to whisper in his ear, she was embarrassed of being denied in front of me. Leo smiled as she pulled away.
