"Mukti why don't you understand this Nandini is setting a bigger trap. Didn't you see she convinced Manik, our Manik, who wouldn't give a second eye to behenjis like her, let alone give a performance on stage." Alya tried to explain Mukti with all her efforts.
Mukti sat there in a dilemma. Alya's words seemed as true as it could be but at the same time, she trusted Manik for she knew he would never betray his Fab Five. She was as shocked as anyone else when Manik approved of performing with Nandini for the upcoming event, but she knew it better than to jump to a conclusion without finding out what Manik is up to.
"Do you still think it necessary to share our thing with Manik and others, when Manik himself was tight lipped about his splendid performance with that behenji in front of Raghav sir?" Alya spat out in anger.
"Yes I do." Mukti stood up and replied in the same tone. "Manik hasn't kept any secret from us, he will tell us eventually, give him some time yaar. And what's the problem agar bata diya toh? I know Manik will get a bit upset, but then we are Fab Five right?" she pointed out.
Although Alya was getting cranky and frustrated, she knew she cannot let this chance of convincing Mukti go, especially when they are alone in the jam room without the rest of Fab Five around.
Alya composed herself, then went to Mukti and kept a hand over her shoulder.

Mukti gave her a puzzled look, "You know it. More than my life!"
"What can you do for your Fab Five?"
"Anything and Everything!" Mukti gave her an obvious look. "What are you trying to say?"
"You do know that this small lie might, might just break it?" Alya finally said what kept her from telling Manik about her devious acts.
"Bre...break what?" Mukti hesitated to even think of what Alya was about to say.
"Us. Fab Five. Manik and my relationship. Anything... and everything." She replied.
Mukti shuddered at the mere thought of it, of having no Fab Five to turn up to when she needs her family.
