Catie grabbed her bookbag, and put it over her shoulder.

"Where is Tao? He said he would walk me to school."

Tao appeared in front of Catie, making her jump from fear.

"Oh my gosh Tao, you scared me."

Tao laughed, "Get use to it, it will happen a lot now."

Catie unlocked the front door, and walked out, Tao following behind.

"Don't you just want to teleport there?"

Tao asked while putting on his Gucci shades.

Catie huffed, and started walking.

"Not everything is about teleportation Tao. A nice walk to hell is better."

Tao groaned, but kept walking.

"You have your project right?"

Catie nodded with a smile.

"Oh, about the message thing. You know, talking to you through my thoughts, what about people seeing you? How can I only see you?"

"When I'm not assigned to another human, I'm like a regular person. Everyone can see me, and I just have a regular schedule. But, once I'm assigned to a human, my schedule is automatically erased, and is filled with only that humans time and schedule. Before I was assigned with you, I was a music artist."

Catie nodded, then thought about the music topic.

"Wow, you were a music artist? What did you do? Sing, rap, play an instrument?"

Tao smiled and acted all cool.

"Well, I don't mean to brag but, I was a rapper."

Catie smirked.

"Maybe you can rap for me sometime, I'd like to hear it."

Tao lightly blushed, and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Um...really?"

Catie smiled.

"Yeah. Or you're just lying to look cool."

Catie mischievously laughed.

Tao got angry.

"Hey, I'm not lying! I do rap, and have a music career!"

"Prove it to me."

Tao sighed and rubbed his hand through his hair.

"Fine, but I'll make a deal. If you can use your time wisely for a whole week, according to my standards, then...I guess....I can create a rap just for you, Catie."

Catie thought about it.

'If I use time wisely, then I get to hear Tao rap, and prove that I can use time wisely if I put my mind to it.'

"Okay, deal!"

Tao put his arm around Catie and smiled.

"I'd like to see how this week goes."

~~~
"And so, World War Two lasted for six years and one day. Starting September first, 1939, and ending September second, 1945. Thank you."
The class clapped for Catie, but only did it out of generosity since it was just history. Catie smiled and walked back to her desk, Tao standing next to the chair.
"See, you did a good job Catie."
She smiled at him and sat down, feeling quite good about herself. Catie rubbed the palm of her hand three times to send Tao a message.
'This is my last class. Do you want to go get something to eat afterwards?'
Tao smiled and spoke.
"Yeah sure, that sounds fun."
'Oh, and I'm using my time wisely since I have no homework.'
Catie smirked, knowing she got him.
"Whatever you want to do this week Catie, it's up to you. This fits in my guidelines."
Tao smiled and patted Caties back.
~~~

The sun was setting, and Catie and Tao were heading home from lunch.

"I'm so full and tired."

Catie rubbed her eyes while speaking.

"Why don't we just teleport you back home?"

Catie yawned and nodded. Tao picked her up bridal style, and smiled. Catie fought and yelled.

"What are you doing?! Put me down Tao!"

Tao laughed, he knew it bothered her.

"Does it bother you?"

"Yes!"

"Well, that's why I did it."

Tao snapped his fingers, popping into Caties room. Tao stood there, looking at Catie.

"Um....you can put me down now."

Tao blushed, realizing he was just staring at her.

"Oh, sorry....."

He set her down, feeling stupid. Catie looked around, feeling nervous.

"Um....your eyes are really pretty."

Catie blushed deeply, looking down at the floor.

"Oh...thank you Tao."

Tao felt how awkward it was.

"Get some sleep Catie, I'm gonna go home....Oh, thanks for the meal out, I appreciate it."

Catie smiled, and nodded.

"Okay, thanks for walking me to school instead of teleporting. You need to get sleep as well."

Tao smiled, and quickly hugged Catie.

"Be careful, goodnight."

Tao snapped his fingers and left. Catie sighed.

"That was really awkward...."
