never has it been so awkwardly quiet here before.

something's changed, and i feel like i'm missing information which i knew better than to ask about right now.

jin and namjoon are sticking together like glue, and the same goes for taehyung and jungkook. recently tae and kook have already been sticking together, but the fact that there's tension between the two pairs particularly made hoseok, yoongi, and i wonder what what we missed out on.

"hyung, what happened?" i said once we were out of earshot of those four.

"how am i supposed to know? after jungkook and taehyung left we all started to drink, but i would remember if something serious happened." yoongi said. "i know that there were a couple confessions..."

oh, the confessions!

"hyung!" i whisper-shouted. "what if this about namjoon liking taehyung?" i asked shocked by my own realization.

the two paused to think about what i just said.

"well, shit. you're probably right." yoongi replied. "but why is jin—"

"jungkook!" namjoon called, clearly nervous as hell. "let... let's talk after we're dismissed." his voice trailed off and before anyone could reply, he walked up to the staff and got to work on some other thing.

jungkook and taehyung seemed surprised of this and seemed to be having a serious conversa— OH— THEY JUST KISSED WHAT THE HELL DID WE MISS?

we remained quiet, even hoseok did in this awkward situation.

our faces of pure shock said it all.

deeming it a good time to ask, i approached our two youngest lovebirds.

"guys, what was that?" i said unsure whether i was talking about the kiss, tension, or both.

"it's... a long story." jungkook said avoiding eye contact, to which taehyung simply nodded.

"well namjoon and jin are the only ones with work still, so we have the time." i sat down on the couch behind them while yoongi and hoseok followed suit.

taehyung and jungkook made eye contact and nodded in silent agreement.

"well..." jungkook said as he and taehyung sat in the chairs in front of us. "i'm not sure where it started, to be honest. it might've started at a convenience store, it might've started in hyejin's apartment, it might've started four years ago after he saved me during a fire, it might've started when he woke up from his coma and i fell in love with him." he paused for a second. "all i know is that i fell for him, hard, and now we're here."

neither of them were looking at the other, but they gave off the warmest smiles i'd ever seen them have.
