Later that night, it was time for the mission and I was stuck in bed…. Or was I? I snuck out of course and followed the code breakers. I wasn’t about to miss the chance to get revenge on the guy who killed Hitomi and my comrades. They didn’t even see me coming. I had a turned off head piece with me in case something happened that I needed to inform then, but so far nothing. That’s when I saw something move in the bush. I was far enough away to look, only to find a man with a gun pointed at Hitomi. I clicked the button on the ear piece and screamed before I jumped. “It’s a trap.” And a bullet shot rang out as I tackled the man, shocking him to death with my ability. “OLIVE?! I thought I told you to stay in bed.” He came close to me; the other code breakers were already in position inside the mansion. So that’s why I took out so many on the road. It was supposed to be an ambush. I got off the steaming man. “I’m sorry, I would have, but I couldn’t not do anything as I see somebody else take revenge on the man I dreamt about killing for the past year!” he nodded, understanding me reasoning. “Very well, now that you’re here you might as well make yourself useful. Follow me.” Hitomi turned away and I began to walk when I felt a sharp pain in my arm. It was bleeding a bit. Shiz, I received the shot meant for Hitomi. I was happy about it, but it hurt like heck. I ripped a piece of my shirt off, tied it around my arm, then followed Hitomi into the mansion were the underlings were taken care of by the other code breakers. Yeah!! Go team. I thought. Then we meet up with the others in front of his door. Hitomi opened it as they fought a mighty battle. I helped of course, I zapped his left arm. While he was distracted, Hitomi took over his movements with his electricity ability. I still want to know how he does that!! Then it was over. Hitomi talked about him being murdered by his own hand and that was that. A huge flame shook the building as we exited. Hitomi gave everybody high fives, followed by me of course. Then he told me to work just as hard when he retires. Everybody laughs as I give a halfhearted “I don’t think I can do It.” well, all except Ogami. Hitomi stopped him before I could and attempted at a fist pump while saying, “You did good Ogami, I’ll be depending on your help for next time.” As Hitomi waited for Ogami to fist pump him in return, he kept a hopeful smile on his face, while I held my breath. Ogami let out a sigh and fist pumped him. That’s when the pain in my left arm returned. Ok, I felt like I was drunk and the world was getting blurry. Darn, I lost too much blood. I need to leave before anybody notices. “Well, joy to the world the mission is done, halleluiah, good job…. to everybody. Now I need to head home cus I feel so sleepy.” I yawned for good measures. Hitomi and Ogami didn’t seem fully convinced, Ogami not really seeming to care either way, or their stares didn’t seem to be. Everybody else seemed fine with my little white lie. As I turned, I took about four steps before I was falling. I prepared for impact when I was grabbed before I landed. Looking up, I found a pair of eye blue eyes staring into my light blue ones. They became blurry as I tried to focus. I stood up again, regaining my balance, only to have myself held strait by Ogami. He lifted my arm and examined it. “Fool.” He mumbled as he let Hitomi replace him. I didn’t feel too good. I was swarmed by the code breakers, but Hitomi ordered them to go home and rest while he handled me. Ogami gave an icy look, but agreed without a word. “What were you thinking not telling me about this?” I was about to answer when the man who supposedly died from his fire, came limping out of the house with a gun.
