." Are you serious? That's basically a yes. "You know, you basically have I know you plastered on your forehead. So who am I?" His eyes matched my gaze and we had a Minnie staring contest before he spoke again. "Olive. You were my girlfriend before the accident." My blue orbs widened to the size of a UFO and I involuntarily stepped back against the wall, my arms out to steady myself. "What do you mean by accident? Why can't I remember you?" Toki looked down. "Olive, this isn't my thing to tell." "My butt it isn't. It seems to me you had some big part in my past. I mean, I was dating a playboy like YOU? What was the accident?" MY eyes began to tear up in frustration. I was angry and sad and.... my emotions were all over the place. Toki stayed quiet after that and I knew he wouldn't say another word. "Then at least riddle me this. Where can I find the person who can tell me?" Toki looked up. "Your brother. If you can find him." What was that supposed to mean? "What do you mean, if i can find him." Toki's smirk revived on his face. "Again, can't tell you the details. All you know now is what you need to know. But don't worry, I won't rush you into falling in love with me again." And he left with a kiss on my check. I'm sad to admit, I didn't have enough energy to kick the guy for his lack of information. I can't believe I used to date a guy like that. What was I thinking? Then again, he's not that bad looking. Maybe he changed over the years where I lost my memories. But why didn't he come visit me? For every question that was answered, which thanks to Toki wasn't that many, a new one took its place, adding themselves to my list of things to wonder about. It seemed like forever until I remembered I had to get to Kanda's class before lunch was over. I scanned the area and found a clock on the wall that read 10 till the end of lunch. I better put the pedal to the medal if I wanted time with Kanda. Now that I understand a bit more about my situation. "Mrs. Kanda, can I talk to you?" I question when I open the door to her room without knocking first. Rude, I know, but I have other things on my mind right now then manners. "Sure thing Olive. Take a seat and I'll be there in a sec. Let me finish hanging the last two posters on the wall and then you can tell me whatever you want." Satisfied with what she said, I do what I'm told and take a seat in the empty rolling chair. "Okay, so what's up?" She gave me a bright smile that softened my anger towards her a little. "Okay, let me just say Kanda, I remember you from my past, so there's no use in hiding it anymore. My brother told me all about me, you and the code breakers." Terror and shock replaced the bright ora she spread just seconds ago. "Oh Olive, I'm so sorry. I just had to make sure you were safe. I couldn't just let you go. It wasn't Hitomi's fault." Hitmoi's fault? What does she mean? So I guess Hitmoi was the reason for the accident? "I still don't know why he did it." I pause, waiting for her to spill the beans. "He did it to protect you. Why he would revile himself just to tell you something he wanted to keep you from will remain a mystery to me, but let me tell you. Eden is after you Olive, he still is. You weren't safe there anymore and without your memories of how to use your ability, it made you useless to Eden. Yet he still thought he could bring memories back that he wants you to see. Memories that never happened and he wants to turn you against you family. He wants your ability and you because your brother betrayed him." All this information filled my head at once and I felt like I was about to hyprovenolate. I hate being this weak. The look on my face told Kanda everything. "You sneaky thing. You got me to tell you." And that was it. My past ended up being erased for the sake of my protection that still isn't really safe. This Eden guy is looking for me and I don't even know what I did. What my brother did. What should I do? I closed my eyes, begging myself not to cry in front of Kanda, but it was no use. This time, not even I could hold them in anymore. After one tear came another, and another, and soon, a lake spilled out of my face and i couldn't do anything about it. The lunch bell rang and Kanda took me into her car so I could calm down without anybody bothering me. Once I trusted my own voice again, I spoke. "Kanda, ever since I can remember, I've always wondered who I was. Dad and Mom always told me that It was okay that I couldn't remember them, that they still loved me the same, but it didn't feel right. I forced myself to live on and feed myself fuels hopes of regaining my memory, dreaming that maybe I was a super hero that fell out of the sky and was adopted by the Sakuras. So riddle me this, who am i really?"
