Kanda just looked out the window, acting like she was thinking of something really hard. Maybe attempting to find the right words? "You used that same saying in your past. Riddle me this, you say and laugh at it." That wasn't what I thought she was going to say, but honestly, I’m glad she said it. "Thanks’ Kanda." With a nod, I got out of the car and entered the school building again. But unlike other days, my heart just wasn't in it. School ends just like every other day, but this time, I followed Toki instead of Ogami. He's walking down the street with his hands in his pockets, looking as cool as ever. I left puppy with Kanda, since i couldn't really bring her on a mission like this. She'd end up barking and giving away my position. The way he walked created an air of arrogance that I must say. I ended up following him to the gate of a huge building. This is strange. It got even stranger when I turn the corner to find Ogami and Sakura there to. WTH?? "The only reason I was assigned with you is because Eden had no faith in you that you could do it alone. Face it, I'm just better than you." Of course. Toki was starting something again. Before fists could fly, I was out of my position and jumped on Toki's back. "Stop bugging people you jerk." I made darn sure his hands were hooked to his sides before I let go. I don't plan on having him make a comment about our closeness. Is that even a word? Forget it. "Awww you protecting Ogami?" I know this whole man pride thing, so before
Ogami did anything rash, I spat, "Nope, I know darn well he can handle his own, I just wanted to call you a jerk." Did he really tell me the truth when he claimed to be my boyfriend? I have my doubts that I would chose a guy like him. Toki rolls his eyes, then I look back at Ogami to see he isn't moving. Thank god. Sakura on the other hand was doing everything but staying still. "Olive! What are you doing here?" I give a shrug. "Same reason you are I guess. Following a person." Giggling, she came closer and envelopes me in a hug. "Guess we don't have to be related to be alike." I hug back before Toki ruins the moment. "Girl, girls, now that that's settled, you two need to go." Crossing our arms, Sakura and I spoke in unison. "No." "Whatever, you were warned." And he just rips the metal door from it's bolts. Sakura's eyes became saucers as she fussed over what just happened. "Magnetism." Toki and I explain at the same time. Where the heck did that come from? A smile spread across Toki's lips as Ogami just walked right past us. "Smart girl, looks like you haven't forgotten everything." That's when my brain starts to ack and a flash of Toki's face appears punching the glass from a moving car, then of him shoving an apple at me telling me to take a bite, me laughing. Then that was it. It's getting harder to deny that we don't have a past. Still, that doesn't mean he's my boyfriend of the past, right? Am I just in denial? "Toki, did you ever feed me an apple?" His eyebrows raise when I speak of the past and Ogami stops moving forward. "I guess it'll wear off." Toki then moves with Ogami down the hall, Sakura and I follow. What was that all about? He still hasn't explained anything to me!! "Does that mean yes?" I scream at him, but all i get is silence. Was that really a memory? Or just my thoughts? Definitely not considering that wasn't my wishful thinking. I'm to confused. The shot of a bullet wheezing past my face snapped me out of my thoughts. "Get down stupid!" Snaps Ogami and Toki at the same time, both pulling me down. "Guess your daydreaming issue hasn't changed." Ogami comments. "You know, you always got in trouble because of that." Toki adds, leaving Sakura giving me the Fill me in look. Oh Sakura, it could take days until I’ve finished explaining once I’ve started. "Whatever. Back to the present, were they aware of you guys coming? Or does the owner of this place just have dang good guards?" "Expected." Ogami answers while Toki stops the bullets with a fling of his figures. Whaaaaaaaaaaat? Then he turns them around to face the shooters and he shuts his hand, then voiced become nothing as bodies fall to the ground. I cant look. "Let's keep moving." Toki made a gesture with his hand in the direction we need to go. Without looking at the dead bodies, Sakura and I follow, eventually walking into a room with two men with these weird metal backpack looking things. More than a little confused, I speak my mind. "What are those things on their backs?" I know it's not the best time to ask, but what the heck. They laugh in mock. "Strange code breaker isn't she? Should we fill her in?" Laughs the fridging buff man with a mohock. "Why not? The secret will die with them anyway. These are our power packs if you will. Meet your maker code scums." The one with the blue eyes screamed while shooting the ice stuff at us, coming out of the tube like hose attached to the can on their backs. Wow, confident much? On instinct, I move, but not without a little shove from Toki, leading us out of the room into the hall while Ogami says behind with Ogami. One for Ogami, and one guy on our heels. "Eat it." The voice came from behind and before the water could freeze Toki and I, Toki used his magnetism to wrench out a metal door and hold it behind it, protecting us. "So, is this an everyday event for you?" Sure it's not the best time, but why not get a laugh while running for my life? "HA, very funny, but seriously, this isn't an unusual situation for me. Then again, I'm usually done by now, so then again, I guess now it is a little different." That arrogates. "Are you sure I dated you in the past?" I had to make sure as Toki used his ability to throw anything metal at the guy to slow him down. "Is the sky blue?" Before I could come up with a comeback for that one, ice hits my hand and the pain of freezing feels so familiar it's crazy. I grit my teeth together, desperate not to grunt. "Shit." Toki murmurs and turns a corner, grabs my unfrozen hand and brings me to a hold.
