Awaking a few hours later, I felt like a new person. It’s amazing what four hours of sleep can do to you. Its 12:00 now and the doctor said I could pack my bags and wheel my way outa here. And you know what? That’s exactly what I did. I was thinking about ditching school for the first time in forever, but there’s no denying that I have to go back. I’ll only be hiding from the inevitable.  Okay then! Outside hospital I sniff the air and feel that strange sensation of freedom. Today is my last day before I go back to school. “Hey mom, hey dad!” I whisper considering I haven’t talked in three days. My voice box hasn’t recovered even when I was talking to Hitomi and Sakura. Sigh. “Olive?” I hear a voice from the kitchen. Mom. She ran and globed me into her arms, crying tears of joy, repeating my name over and over again as if she was trying to process that I was actually standing in front of her. I petted her head and told her it was okay. It was like this for at least 5 minutes. Later, we had cookies together and told me the side of the story that she heard from the police. That I was attacked on the streets and I was saved by the police. The men were in jail and there was no longer a threat, but I knew that it wasn’t the truth. Why were the cops on my side and why did they think that’s what happened? Did the police really save me? Not Ogami? Was I just in a delusional state because of blood loss? No, Sakura said she saw him to, but there was something she didn’t tell me. Something happened that she didn’t want me to know. Well then. “Mom, I’m really tired, I’m going to head up and catch some Z’s.” being the understanding mother she is, she agreed and I slept the rest of the day. Morning arose and I’ve never felt better. There was just one thing missing, Sakura wasn’t there to wake me up. “Sakura?” I call as I walk down the stairs to find mom and dad at the breakfast table. “Where’s Sakura?” I ask nobody in particular. “She already left. She said she didn’t think you were coming today.” Dad didn’t seem totally convinced with his answer and then I knew that something was wrong if even Sakura was lying to me. There’s one thing I know, that if Sakura lies, she’s doing what she thinks is right for everybody else. I walk to school alone with the thought of what to say to Sakura. She’s been acting weird since yesterday and it’s driving me crazy. Right when I make it into the classroom I’m globed by Aoba. I hug back of course, just as happy to see her as she was to see me. “Olive!!! OMG WHAT HAPPENED? ARE YOU OKAY? YOU NEED TO TELL ME EVERYTHING OMG YOU MADE ME SO WORRIED I HAD NIGHTMARES AND I COULDN’T SLEEP AND I WAS GONNA CRY WHEN SAKURA CAME AND YOU DIDN’T AND DID I MENTION I WAS WORRIED?” I chuckled a little, shutting her up. “WHATS SO FUNNY?” she yelled. “I’ve missed you to Aoba.” She received a hug from me and I just about died from suffocating. I was welcomed back by the class and Mrs. Kanda was happy to see me again. One person I hadn’t seen in a while was Sakura. She was sitting at her desk, reading her fighting magazine. The class went silent as they caught me staring. “Sakura.” I started, but I didn’t get to finish as I caught her make eye contact with Ogami. She got up and said, “I think you should stay away from me for a while.” That’s when the whispers began. “Did the sisters get into a fight? What happened to Sakura? Did you see how crushed Olive looks.” I was dumb struck, bit I’m pretty dang sure I didn’t look crushed. Oh well, I guess this is the closest I’ve ever looked to crushed. Before I could ask for a reason the bell rang and it was time to take my seat. All I knew was that Sakura had her hands tied, and Ogami was part of the problem.
