“Finally lunch.” I whisper to myself as I get up. “Olive, can I speak to you please?” gasps rang out from the class as I walked to the teacher head up and confident. “Oh, sorry. I do want to talk to you today. I’m out of it for some reason.” I admit. The class left as I said this. Kanda close the door as the last person left. “I can tell. That’s why I wanted to talk to you.” Kanda glanced out the window with a grin. “So, you seem like you know Ogami. This is so interesting!” I thought about objecting, but I couldn’t lie to Kanda-sensei. “I don’t think so. Well, it may sound crazy, but when we made eye contact my heart hurt. Don’t laugh, but it’s like I’ve seen him in a dream.” I trail off. I snap back to reality to find Kanda smirking. I gave a confused stare as I said, “Sorry Kanda, I need to head to the lunch room. Sakuras’ probably waiting for me.” I walk out the door to find a crowd of people gathering around a window area. I take a look to find Sakura and Ogami. “Noooooo. Sakura’s confessing to the new student!” I heard boys crying and girls complimenting on how bold and strait forward she is. This is so stupid. Sakura would never do something like this for a reason like asking a guy out. I mentally face palm as I get “Oh no, is there a love triangle going on? Does Olive like the transfer student to?” Again, I did a mental face palm. I reached the two as Ogami took off his glove and Sakura’s shock plain on her face. As I walked up, Ogami glanced at me and said, “This glove was a gift from somebody important to me. It’s like a good luck charm if you will.” I stare intently at his hand. Now I know why Sakura confronted him. This is the guy we saw that day at the park. But I really don’t know who he is. I just have a strong feeling. Ogami slides past us as I give him one last stare down before turning to Sakura. “Was he the guy from the park?” I question. She nodded as she grabbed my arm and we turned around. After school, we went to the park to feed the homeless man’s dog. The homeless man died for an unknown reason three months ago and ever since then, we’ve taken care of his dog. He warmed up to me pretty fast, but he still doesn’t let Sakura pet him. Maybe because we’ve both lost somebody important to us, me my sweet adopted mom from four years ago, and the dog his owner. I gave him one rice ball and he chomped the thing down until there was nothing left, than licked my hand. Sakura put hers on the ground and only then did he come help himself. “You’re such a good dog!” I complement as I pet his ears. “Hmp, Showoff.” Sakura complains. I smirk as I pull away from the dog. “Hey Olive, do you believe that we really saw Ogami burn down those men? I mean, I saw his gloved hand and he wasn’t burned at all.” I contemplate before I answer. “I honestly don’t know. I have a feeling he’s playing a character he’s not. That smile seems so fake, like he’s putting on a show and I would know considering I’ve took acting classes for 4 years. But something about him seems familiar.” The last part just slipped out. “Wait, you feel like you know him?” Sakura’s shock was clearly plastered on her face. “No. it’s just that I have a familiar feeling around him.” I cover, but it didn’t make my situation much better. I could tell she was about to say something, but we heard a scream on the other end of the park. We reached the area to turn the corner and find a man being beaten to a pulp by a bunch of gangsters. My first instinct was to run out there and help and by the looks of it, Sakura felt the same. “Hey, why don’t you pick on somebody your own size?” I scream at the gang members. Their attention was now on me as Sakura grabbed the bruised guy and ran to safety. They only smirked. “Aww now look what you did. Now you let our informer get away. Looks like we’ll have to get another one.” They begin to surround me as I rake through my brain to buy more time until Sakura gets back.
