Eventually I break the silence, wondering why I'm being brought here! And if he could tell me why he erased my memories. "So, just curious, but why did you erase my memories? Why didn't I fight back?" He leads me into the clock room where a couch fills some space in the middle. I guess this is going to be a very long conversation. We sit there for a while, him lazy like and me cross legged. "It was your birthday. I didn't plan on doing it then, but, Eden left me no choice." Eden.... The prime minister. "What does the prime minister have to do with the code breakers by the way?" Hitomi switches his position, crossing his arms over his chest. "He's the leader. He invented the code breakers. Still he's a selfish man, he even put his own son in the business." What? "Who? Is he in this country? Is he in a different group? Do I know him?" A smile spreads across Hitomi's face at my show of interest. "I'm surprised Olive, I thought you would have guessed by now." Is he not going to tell me? Obviously I know him if he said I should have guessed by know. "Had you not erased my memory, I might have guessed it by now." I throw a bit of a jab at him, searching his face for guilt but finding non. Why does he not have many guilt when it comes to the prime minister? Oh gosh, it's because of the woman being consumed by her own ability, the memory I saw quite a while ago. But, can Eden really know about that? Can there be a person that messed up? "It's Toki! I'm shocked, you know you two used to like each other." "........." My before question about ceases to exist after those words. So Toki and I used to be a thing? "Toki and I used to be a thing?" I can see the struggle for Hitomi to keep his strait face. "Come on Hitomi, stop humoring me." Gosh, he was just messing with me, but... Toki the prime ministers son? "No I'm serious, your reaction just killed me though." When I see Toki again, he has a lot of explaining to do. "I can't believe I couldn't remember! Was I really in love with that player?" This is when Hitomi resumes his laid back position, head laying on his arms that cross behind his head. "Your way to easy to fool now a days olive. I never said love, I said like. But was there a relationship? I don't know. You'd have to ask Toki about that." I sweat drop, already knowing what that player is gonna say. "I already know what he's going to say if I ask a stupid question like that." The smile brightens his face, making his next words, even if they were bad, to sound pretty good. "Guess some of your old brain is still in there's." Before I can shoot a reply in his face, Hitomi looks at his watch, gets up and grabs my hand to lead me away. "I almost forgot, I have someone I'd like you to meet." Meet huh? Oh man! How could I forget? "Keane right?!" "I new you two met already, I guess it's only natural the boys told you about him. Still! I thought he was only a suspect to them not worth worrying about." I explain how I know him, "Ogami told me to stay away from him." A sad expression that could put a sniveling puppy to shame is now in Hitomi's face. "so, how is Ogami now a days. He's never bin one to share his information. Still, I thin you found a weak spot in him. If you remembered what you did back then, I'd ask ya what I did back then." Hah, wouldn't you and I both like to know. "Olive? Hey! Guess our little study date is coming a little sooner then expected." I roll my eyes. "It's not a date, silly a study group of two." "So, a date" he tries again, smirking at my expense. "I didn't know you two were this close! Why didn't you tell me you two had a date planned?" Hitomi adds his voice to the mix. Hitomi again looks at his watch before sending Keane off. Keane moves closer to Hitomi and whispers in his ear. "So it's time already huh? Keep olive safe, and good luck" Hm I wonder what he just said and in all honesty. I wish I'd know Keane a little more. Just as I'm about to voice my thoughts, a loud bomb shakes the ground. "What the heck?" Hitomi looks at his watch stricken. "Their earlier then. Olive, make sure the prime minister is still tied." I'll do it, but, who's early? "Who's coming? Are they enemies?" Saddened, he takes his leave, his last words being, "meet me in the big room up stares with the windows when your done. The code breakers are coming." The code breakers. I rush to the computer screen in the next room, making sure the prime minister is only struggling to loosen his ties and not be out of them. "Oh Heiki! What are you doing here?" I try to peek at the screen, but a small flash and the screen is showing nothing but the expected. All swell ends well I guess. Eden is still tightly glued to his chair on top of his building. "Good." I sigh in relief, holding my hand to my chest. "Olive, has it begun?" Heiki asks me in that weird voice he has. I nod AND he runs out the door. "Nice talk." I say, finding his sudden need to leave a little rude, but understandable since he knows more of what's going on then I do. Are the code breakers gonna have some tea together and talk? On my way upstairs, a thought occurs to me that makes me holt in my tracks. WHAT will I DO when I'm up there? Aren't I on both teams? I doubt they'd actually kill each other though. The walk seems shorter then before, and walking into the window room isn't what I thought I'd see. The code breakers are together again, except Ogami is taking Hitomi on while the others are rubbing their injuries. Did Hitomi DO THAT in the twenty minutes I was gone? Ogami and Hitomi are equally matched as it seemed, or... Huh, Hitomi's going easy on him! I can see it in the way he fights. So, Ogami is flaming up, Hitomi has electricity dripping from his fingers, and I'm standing there dumb struck watching at the door.... Aren't I a lot of help. Hitomi finds Ogami's temporary weak spot, shoots, and throws Ogami to the floor. Sakura Rushes to help him, screaming his name in the process, but Hitomi will have non of it. Why doesn't anybody HOLD HER BACK? Hitomi makes his way over to Ogami with ease as Ogami talks. "Why Hitomi? What are you doing?" Oh, I've never seen him so angry. Well, he did just get his butt handed to him. Hitomi smiles his usual smile, out stretching his hadn't words Ogami. "Eden uses people mercilessly without regret. Join me again, and together, we'll make sure every code breaker is remembered. We'll work together again, just like old times" silence replaces the noise of battle, ogami's expression looks like he's wavering back and forth until finally, he slaps Hitomi's hand away. "Don't be stupid Ogami." I make myself known to the two friends. Hitomi takes one look at me and sighs. "Olive. Everything seems to be out of my time judgment today. I changed my mind, you can go home." My eye twitches at his change of attitude towards me. "Get out of here olive, stop the bomb." Ogami grunts. Bomb? I turn towards Hitomi for the answers. "Bomb?" I whisper. "Oh dear, you sold me out Ogami." Hitomi steps back and outstretched his hand, ready to kill, but Sakura steps in the way before I can. "Very well, if my ability doesn't effect you, I'll have to get you like this." Hitomi closes in on Sakura, grabbing her neck and chocking the life out of her. "Hitomi!" I bark, but my words are lost to him. I run of and smack his arm, but to no prevail. "Now, I think I'll wait until after the bomb goes off and kills the 50,000 people before killing this girl. Oh? What's the matter Ogami? You don't have the power to save this girl. I've seen many code breakers die and I couldn't do anything. Feel how I felt, watching people die powerless to help. "Hitomi!" I try again, but he takes the hand that I'm about to hit him with with his free hand, looks me in the eye and says, "olive, I don't want you to see this." Then tosses me towards Ogami.
It's closing in on the end! I'm not sure whether to be excited or sad that it's almost over. Non the less, I'm just glad I have another update for you all. Comment and vote for me if you liked it! ^_^ Like I always say, hope you enjoyed!
