Yay! It won't be my last chapter after all! I've been thinking about it for months on how to end this, and I think I've finally come up with one. I've written a few endings, but didn't think they had enough of how olive was feeling, sooooo I'm on track of writing another ending and I'm liking it! Haha sorry for the long wait, writers block and timing arn't on my side. Anyway, enough of my babbling, hope you all enjoy!
"The only reason Hitomi was picked was so we have a powerful ability user test Ogami's power and fully bring it out." Heiki agrees, receiving the ministers approval. Slimy bastard. "You made quite a show teaming up with Hitomi. You did an outstanding job." I hear Heiki speak in a lower tone. "It wasn't a show." The prime minister doesn't seem effected at all by the death of a fellow team member. "Now all I have to worry about is the one being sot. And thanks to Hitomi, we have a trick card." "You know minister, he could have seriously hurt you." the minister tilts his head back, resting it on his head rest laughing in spire of the thought. I want to find that car and throw a rock at it. "No he couldn't hurt me considering I have you to protect me." Just then, the prime minister coughs, bending over with something red spilling from his mouth. "So, I've been bitten by a cornered rat." A smile spreads across Heiki's face while the minister hacks up some more blood. Huh, trouble till the end. I watch a little longer, saddened with myself for finding it amusing. Just before I close it, Heiki's face fills the screen. "Enjoying the view olive?" He whispers. "What did you say Heiki?!" Another voice asks. "Nothing." Heiki answers before my screen goes black. He wanted me to hear, I'm not sure whether to say thanks or not. At least Hitomi got one good hit at the prime minister before he.... Moved on. The event is still fresh in my mind and I want nothing more but to sleep it away. I change, brush my teeth while avoiding my "family", and lay in my bed before my hears catch a knock on my window. A little scared, I slowly walk towards it, then hide on the side while looking out from the side of the window. "Toki?" I whisper yell, spinning the wheel of fortune in my head whether to be pissed or ok. He holds his hands up in surrender, probably already feeling my wrath before I've even done anything. "Take it easy, just wanting to see how you were holding up." That's oddly very unlike Toki. "Well that's oddly sweet of you. Where are the hidden cameras?" I make a big show of looking around the room. Toki understands my humor and shows his amusement plain on his face. "Well if I told you, it wouldn't be fun now would it?" Was that a statement or a question? "So why the BAE?(break and enter) miss me already?" I already see our conversation happening, both not missing a beat at mocking the other. "You know what they say, if you want to stay in the game, give the people what they want." I groan, already feeling better. "Hah! You smiled. Guess I still have it when it comes to the ladies." With a shrug, I comment. "Sure you do, Not everybody has your historical looks." Toki pats his heart in fake hurt. "You always know how to hurt me deep." I maneuver myself into a laid back position, remembering how Hitomi always made it make him look so bad ass. My face cringes at the memory. I can't wait for the day the scar heals, and I'll think of Hitomi with a smile on my face. Without realizing it, Toki slides himself next to me, having one side of his body touch mine. "But really, I'm here to talk." I clench my jaw, pushing the tears back. "I just can't believe the only real family I had left is gone, and I just had him back." I sound pretty monotone, even to my own ears. But that's er least of my problems for the nights the biggest wide eyes moment is when Toki pulls me in close for a wait for it, normal hug! No perverted moves or dirty intentions. Just a normal, consulting hug. My head takes a five minute breather so my neck can relax right on his chest, accepting the embrace. "You know, when I told you my mom passed away recently, there was one thing you told me that never left my head." I look into his different colored eyes for an answer. "What?" He smirked a wicked smirk. "Spoiler alert, everybody dies in the end." I slap his arm... Hard. "I'd never say that! Then again." I contemplate, wondering what I'd say to that. He laughs at me actually thinking about it only to bring me back in so I lay on his chest. Why is he doing this? "I'm just kidding. You'd slap me and say get a hold of yourself." Ugh. I shove him off the bed with a groan. "Olive sweetie! Dinner is ready!" I sigh at my moms call, unsure if I even want to go down and talk. Hitomi makes his presents known in my head again and a sigh escapes my lips before I decide not to worry anybody. "Coming!" I scream back, more or less making an attempt to sound ok. "There, that's your cue to leave doofus. There's no talking with you about important serious stuff anyway. Get out so I can sleep." He comes closer again before I threaten him physically. "Get out or so help me I'll punch you right in the you know where so some day you can't have children." He holds his hands up in surrender before taking another shot at me. "You know olive, you wouldn't be able to have my kid if...." I sooooo didn't let him finish. "Get out!" My words sound rough, but my face contradicts my attitude. I'm pretty amused in all honesty, and if Im reading his expression right, so is he. "See sometimes all you need is a little of me to brighten your day. Remember that next time you have the urge to punch me." I do the thinking man pose before punching his arm. "Nah, still didn't change anything." "You always know how to hurt me here." He points to his heart. "What it's not like there's anything there to hurt you player." My jab doesn't effect him, if anything, I think I just gave his ego a nice stroking. "Thank you olive, I never thought you'd give me a compliment." I roll my eyes at his optimistic outlook at my rude comment. "Well aren't you mighty optimistic today. But I'm not so sad to report your optimism isn't needed anymore. So, climb back out that window you so rudely invited yourself through." Again he makes a gesture to his heart and smiles, leading to another eye roll on my side. "You sure you won't miss me?" That face.... Why does it bring rampaging butterflies to my stomach? "I think" I voice.... Until he gets closer. That's when my voice starts to fail on me. "I'll manage." I finish in a whisper. Finding his nose touching mine very reassuring. "You sure?" He asks again, trying to be intimidating. I feel my face heat up and my palms start to sweat. What do I do? Geez, what happened to my bad ass self? Normally I'd have kneed the guy in a very important area by now, but..... Ugh, I'm a frustrating person. I'd drive myself crazy. Oh wait. My breath catches as our lips almost make contact when my defense reflexes kick in when mom again calls me down for dinner. I turn my head away. "C-coming mom!" Dang, I'm so flustered and my brain feels like it's been sat on. Just like that, we're a few feet apart, Toki now looking a little nervous. "Oh, did I make Toki nervous. I thought nothing got you shaking in your shoes." I attempt to change the atmosphere, but turns out Toki was gonna do it anyway with the story of how he was allowed to see me. Turns out rebel Toki isn't so much a rebel after all. HE just lost a few ego points. Hahaha. "It's not you, I promised the guard that caught me that I'd be gone by the time your mom called you down the second time. So one of them is probably making their way up here as we speak. If I'm still up here when that happens, I doubt I could explain to my boss what happened." Guess that's legit. "Yeah, be careful who you make a deal with in this house. Still, you better head out, I'd like to still see an intact toki." I chuckle, realizing what I just said. Toki realizes it to, a wicked smirk forming on his lips. He's just about to speak when steps are heard, indicating five seconds are left before bodyguard number one makes an entrance. "See you tomorrow olive." He whispers, then disappears just as the guard enters to find me on the bed with my eyes closed. "Mrs.olive, are you ok? Did that blond guy do anything to you?" I smile, guess Toki wasn't lying after all. Wow, once in a while truth spouts from that guy's mouth. Dinner didn't go as planned. I wanted to go down completely unaffected, but once I saw Sakura again, I can't keep a smile. We eat in silence, mom or dad casually trying to spark a conversation, me giving a very simple answer. Just when I'm about to dismiss myself, the door bell rings. Seconds later a very peeved guard enters asking for me. "It's the blonde guy mrs. Olive. He wishes to speak with you." My dad grabs my arm before I leave, saying words or watch out, considering he now knows what Toki is. I nod, but know he won't do anything to me, but I doubt the prime minister will have nothing happen to me.
