Hayes started the talking first "So, tell me a little bit about you, something about you that I don't know. "

I thought for a little bit, "well I love tubing and jet-skiing-"

Hayes cut me off. "You do, huh?" His eyes light up with joy. I waited for him to say something else, but he didn't. "Sorry sorry keep going," he said with a laugh.

"Okay, well every summer I go to a over night lacrosse camp, I am the most ticklish person ever and I'm so going it regret telling you that. I love when boys smell good so point one for you, I love sweatshirts, I like art and making things, I love pretty flowers, I almost always have my headphones in, when ever I can that is, and I love trying new things." I paused, "okay wow I am a loser."

He laughed. I really liked his laugh.

"Your not a loser, B," he paused a realized what he'd said, "uh-I-I'm sorry I know tha-"

"It's fine. You can call me that if you want." I told him. I felt guilty almost that I was allowing anyone besides Dylan to call me that, but maybe this was a good thing.

"Okay," he smiled and I smiled back. "You know you have a really pretty smile"

I looked at him with a grin, "thanks,"
if I blushed I totally would be right now, but I don't and I'm thankful.

Hayes

We walked around the park and talked for a good three hours before it started getting dark. I got an idea.

"Hey, let's go walk on the beach?"

She had a confused look on her face and she scrunched her eyebrows together, "Hayes that's like a 10 minute walk from here."

"I know. Let's go."

She shrugged, "okay."

She's the cutest. The way she can just go with the flow. The way her hair flows in the wind. Just everything about her is prefect.

After 10 minutes of walking we got to the beach and she immediately sprinted towards a big rock. I chased after her and she just froze right in front of it. Staring at it. I was confused.

I went to stand right next to her and I saw a tear in her eye. She pushed the hair out of her face and started shaking her head. "It's just another stupid memory of me and Dylan," and she had more tears coming from her eyes.

"What was it?"

She looked up at laughed like she thought of the memory "have you ever noticed the scar on Dylan's forehead?"

"Yeah."

"When we were in forth grade me and Dyl were racing down this beach and he tripped over his own feet, feel, and hit his head on this rock. I wanted to see if the blood from his head was still here. It is," she laughed threw her tears and bent down in front of the rock and ran her hand over the spot. "Oh my gosh I probably look so awful right now," and she wiped off her wet cheeks with her sleeve.

"I think you look beautiful when you cry."

She looked up and smiled at me. The best smile you could ever get. And I could tell it was real.
She got up off the ground and we started walking down the beach. I stopped walking for a second but she didn't notice and kept walking. I walked up behind her and picked her up and threw her over my shoulder. She just kept laughing until she realized what I was doing.

"HAYES I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU PUT ME IN THAT WATER YOU ARE GOING TO BE SORRY." I just laughed and ran for the water. "HAYES!"

Bradie

And after that I was surrounded by cold ocean water. Hayes was in the water next to me laughing his head off.

"I'm sorry I had to," he said catching his breath

I just laughed with him. These are the memories I wanna make. In that moment I realized that I like Hayes.
