Hayes

I was wondering the halls looking for her then I heard a bang. It sounded like a locker being slammed. It was repetitive. It shook you out of your skin just listening to it.

I ran the halls looking for where the noise was coming from, then I found the hall where B's locker is at. She was punching Dylan's old locker.

I sprinted towards her, "B STOP!"

She looked at me and she had red puffy blood shot eyes and tear stained cheeks. She was just staring at me from a few feet away. She looked like she was having trouble breathing. Her chest was moving up and down rapidly, then she lost her focus from me.

"B what's going on? Look at me."

Her breathing wasn't normal, she was clutching at her chest almost as if she was trying to rip her shirt off. I had no idea what to do, I was freaking out just as much as she is at this point. She wouldn't look at me. She just kept looking around but couldn't make eye contact with me. Her breaths were short, she couldn't catch a breath.

She was slowly falling it the ground. I put my hands on her waist so she wouldn't fall but I lead her to my lap on the ground. She was having a panic attack.

"B look at me. Focus." She looked at me and had so much worry and hurt in her eyes. "B you gotta calm down. Okay?" I cupped my hands around her face to get her the focus on me. "B look at me. Focus on me. Only me. Look at my eyes. Focus on my voice." She couldn't do it. She was freaking out, she couldn't do anything beside gasp for breath mid sob.

"I can't," she managed to say.

"Yes, yes you can. You can do it. Come on just look at me. Focus on my voice. Focus on my breathing." I wanted to pull her close to me and just hug her and stop her from shaking, but that was the last thing she needed.

I did the only thing I could think of to calm her down. I kissed her.
