Absolutely CANDI: Episode 3 - Moving Images
SCENE 1
Zoe's alarm rings. The time is 5 in the morning. Zoe turns off the alarm and sits up in her bed. She then decides to open her curtains; revealing a sunny day outside.
She then gets ready for school in her bathroom; brushing her teeth and washing her face and hair.
Zoe puts on the clothes that she had laid out the night before. She then applies her makeup, and takes a selfie.
She goes downstairs to see her family eating breakfast. She gets her handbag and hugs each member of the family as she is about to leave; except for Alfie; who's head she nudges forward, so that his face is splashed in cereal.
As she walks towards the bus stop, she listens to music on her headphones. She smiles as she anticipates meeting her friends again.
As she travels by both bus and train, she uses her phone to text and catch up on work.
Eventually, she arrives at the college. She walks straight up to the Textiles and Fashion classroom, where a few students are being taught.
Zoe: Hey, Miss!
The teacher turns to Zoe.
Teacher: Zoe! What are you doing here?
Zoe: I'm here for my lesson; obviously.
Teacher: Well, not anymore. You're off my register.
Zoe pauses for a moment, as she takes in what the teacher has said.
Zoe: What? I'm off the register?
Teacher: Didn't you hear me the first time? You're no longer in my class. You need to leave. Take your things.
Zoe stands still in confusion and shock. The other students all stare at her as she tries to make sense of the situation.
