SCENE 15

Zoe, Charli and Quinn walk back into the college and into the corridors. They see Craig standing by the lockers while using his phone while holding a half eaten sandwich.

Zoe goes to him, while Charli and Quinn keep their distance.

Zoe: Nice to see you eating something for once.

Craig chuckles.

Craig: You seem chipper. What happened with Physics?

Zoe: It's cancelled, Craig. Cancelled!

Craig: Why?

Zoe: It's just... not happening. Anyway... will you help me?

Craig: Sure. What with?

Charli and Quinn enter the conversation.

Charli: Well...

Craig sighs and rolls his eyes sarcastically. He then interrupts her.

Craig: You lost me at Charli. Sorry.

Quinn steps in front of Charli.

Quinn: In that case, I'll say it. We're gonna get Zoe back on the course and we want you to be a model for our portfolio - London Life!

Craig: I'm sorry, but I'm not really a model.

Zoe: I find that very hard to believe. Especially since I thought you were one!

Craig: Aww, really, Zoe?

Zoe: Hello? On the first day, you pulled up like 'Hey - I've got great hair, and great teeth, and I can ride a skateboard! Now I'm gonna get a drink, and I'm gonna drink it just like those famous people who endorse drinks on TV. I am so fab!'!

She acts out everything she says. Craig looks slightly bashful, but then rethinks.

Craig: I do have great hair. And great teeth. And I can ride a skateboard.

Quinn: Wait - that's it! That's our first piece!

Craig: Hair and teeth?

Quinn: No... although they are both looking on point.

Quinn feels Craig's hair.

It's so silky and smooth.

Zoe slaps Quinn's hand.

Zoe: Hey - stop! That hair is for me to fondle!

Quinn: Sorry. It just... took me to another world.

She takes her hand out of Craig's hair.

But yeah... my idea was skateboards. We can go to a skate park somewhere nearby and get some pictures of Craig shredding some rubber!

Craig is not impressed by this.

Craig: Firstly, that's not the saying. Secondly, never say that again. Thirdly, oh, my goodness - never say that again; that was painful to hear! And finally, we can go to the skate park in South Bank if you want.

Charli: Isn't that a bit far

Craig: Not too far. It's literally a bus journey away. In fact, we could even walk there if you want.

Zoe: Fine by me.

Quinn: Sorted then! Meet us after college outside at the benches and we'll go!

Craig: Cool.

The bell rings and they all go their separate ways.

Charli turns back and calls after Craig.

Charli: Can't wait to see you shred some rubber, Craig!

Craig turns back.

Craig: Shut up, Charli!

The three all laugh as they walk off.
