SCENE 17

At the skate park in South Bank, Zoe, Craig, Charli and Quinn are setting up for the photoshoot.

Some other skaters are also at the park.

Charli: So... how are we gonna do this?

Quinn: Isn't it obvious? We get Craig going, and then take some shots.

Charli: Erm, Quinn... I think it's a bit more complicated than that.

Quinn: How?

Charli: I'm a Photography student, and from what I DID pay attention to in class, you've also gotta work out lenses, angles, light exposure... you know, that stuff.

Quinn: It'll be fine. Besides, can't you just edit it later?

Charli: That depends on how long we have. And how many we take.

Meanwhile, Craig is putting on his skating gear.

Zoe tries on his helmet for fun.

Zoe: So... skateboarding... do you have to put all of this on?

Craig takes off the helmet and puts it on.

Craig: Yes, I do. For safety.

Zoe picks up more of his safety gear. She tries to fit one of his knee pads on her shoulders.

Zoe: It didn't seem that dangerous when you rode into school with your skateboard. You weren't wearing these...

Zoe is struggling to fit the pads on. Craig sees this and takes them.

Craig: Knee pads?

Zoe: That's what those were? I knew that, duh...

Craig rolls his eyes.

Craig: Sure. Sure you did.

Zoe: Well, have fun. Hopefully the pics look nice.

Craig: Hey, thanks!

He hugs and kisses her.

Charli prepares the camera.

Charli: OK, Craig - you ready?

Craig gives a thumbs up.

Go for it.

Craig begins to ride his skateboard. He does multiple tricks and skills; which Charli take pictures of. Zoe watches, with an impressed look on her face. Quinn watches quietly.

Once the shoot is done. Craig finishes skating, much to the annoyance of the other skaters.

Charli: Nice.

Craig picks up his skateboard and puts an arm around Zoe.

Craig: I kinda need to sit down. I'm a bit tired.

Quinn: Already? You're 17, not 77!

Charli: To be honest, I don't blame him. 17 years old? He's practically old enough to claim his pension!

Charli laughs. Craig snatches her scarf and holds it up.

Charli tries to get it back, but Craig is too tall for her.

Zoe grabs the scarf and gives it back.

Zoe: Pipe down, you two children.

Quinn: Hey, should we sit down and look at the pictures?

Charli: Sure! I'll just save them...

She uses the camera to save all the pictures.

Quinn: Let's go and find somewhere to sit, then!

Zoe: OK!

They all leave, unaware that two skaters are following them...
