After a short drive, Tzuyu and Sana arrived at the penthouse. The moment they stepped inside, a woman approached them with fresh towels in her hands.

“Miss Jeon is already asleep,” the woman informed calmly. She then turned to Sana with a warm smile. “I see you brought a friend.”

“Yes,” Tzuyu replied. “Sana-unnie, this is Mrs. Lee. She’s the caretaker here.” Sana bowed slightly and greeted her politely.

After a brief exchange, Mrs. Lee excused herself, leaving the two alone. Tzuyu guided Sana down the hallway and stopped in front of the guestroom.

“You’ll catch a cold if you don’t change,” Tzuyu said gently and handed Sana a spare clothes. “I’m in the next room if you need anything.” She turned to leave, but before she could take a step, Sana suddenly grabbed her arm and pulled her into a hug.bTzuyu froze for a second, surprised by the sudden gesture, but quickly regained her composure.

“Thank you,” Sana whispered, her voice soft but sincere, before pulling away.

“Don’t mention it,” Tzuyu replied with a small smile, then left the room.

Left alone, Sana glanced around the guestroom. Her eyes landed on a telephone resting on the bedside table. She picked it up and dialed Nayeon’s number. After a few rings, the line connected.

“Hello, this is Nayeon.”

“Unnie, it’s Sana,” she said. “I won’t be able to go home tonight, the rain’s too heavy.”

After reassuring Nayeon and ending the call, Sana began changing her clothes.
Suddenly, A loud crack of thunder echoed through the room.

“Ah!” Sana screamed, instinctively covering her ears as she collapsed beside the bed.

The sound carried down the hallway.
Tzuyu rushed back to the guestroom, opening the door without thinking, and immediately froze. Sana was half-dressed, crouched beside the bed, trembling as she covered her ears.

“I-uh–s-sorry, I didn’t mean to-” Tzuyu stammered, her eyes widening as a deep red tint spread across her cheeks.

Before she could finish, Sana stood up and wrapped her arms around her again.

“Please… don’t go,” Sana pleaded, tears pooling in her eyes.

Another thunderclap echoed, and Sana tightened her grip on Tzuyu.

'She’s afraid of thunder…' Tzuyu realized.

Without saying a word, she returned the hug, leaning against the wall to steady them both. They stayed like that, silent, unmoving for almost an hour, until Sana’s trembling eased and her breathing slowly became even.

When Tzuyu glanced down. Sana was already asleep. Carefully, Tzuyu lifted her and laid her gently on the bed. She slipped her own T-shirt over Sana, tucked her beneath the comforter, and brushed a strand of hair away from her face.
She stared at her for a long moment.

“How are you this adorable even when you’re just resting?” Tzuyu murmured softly.

After one last lingering look, she leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to Sana’s forehead before quietly heading to her own room.
