The next day, Sana was helping Momo debug a computer program.

“Sana, today’s the juniors’ game. Let’s watch them play later,” Momo said casually, finishing Sana’s espresso in one long sip.

“I’d love to. I want to see my cub play too,” Sana replied without looking up, completely focused on her friend’s code. “But we still have a group report later.”

'I also miss long-leg,'Sana thought.

“And when did that cubby Chae-chae become your cub?” Momo teased, referring to Chaeyoung.

“She’s been my cub even before you met me,” Sana replied calmly without actually telling her they're siblings. “Now… can I have my coffee back?” she asked as she finally closed the laptop.

“I love you, Sana. How does a simple cup of coffee taste so perfect when it comes from you?” Momo said dramatically, placing the empty mug beside Sana’s notes and flashing a peace sign.

Sana stared at the mug. “That’s it. I’m done,” she sighed. “Where’s Mina? I think I love that penguin more than I love you,” she added, standing up and pretending to leave.

“Go ahead. Go to your Mina,” Momo shot back. “I’m going to meet my new baby, Somi.”

“You cheater!” Sana spun around. “You said I was your only baby. Who’s this Somi girl? I’m going to flick her forehead, she’s stealing my property.”

“You never change. Jealous as always,” Momo chuckled. “Relax. Don’t hurt the kid. She might be tall, but she’s still a junior,” she said while packing her things.

'Tall… and a junior.
Could it be her?'

“Momo,” Sana asked carefully, “Does this Somi… have a dimple?”

“Yeah,” Momo nodded. “But it’s not just that. She has a great personality too, plus, she’s one of the juniors’ basketball MVPs.”

'So Somi is my long-leg…' Sana smiled softly, completely misunderstanding the situation.

“Why are you smiling like that?” Momo asked suspiciously.

“Nothing,” Sana replied quickly. “Just… happy.”

Momo shrugged. “Anyway, thanks for helping me again, and for the coffee. You’re the best.” She blew Sana a kiss before leaving.

Later that night, Sana and her group mates were the last ones to leave the room.

“Well done, girls. We can finally relax,” Mingyu said cheerfully.

“It was actually fun working with you,” Sana replied. Her phone vibrated, and without realizing it, her lips curved into a smile when she saw the sender..

“Maybe next time. I need to meet someone,” Sana replied.
