The Adventure

Chapter 6

Ryans p.o.v

I hugged Alex and smiled, I didn't want to let go but unfortunately I had to, then Cas came over and hugged me while Alex commented,"I thought those eyes were familiar." I looked around expecting to see Rosie but she was no where to be seen I looked at them and raised an eyebrow,"Where's Rosie at, you guys used to be three pees in a pod?"

They all looked at me but my eyes went straight to Noah, his eyes seemed to darken at the mention of her name and I looked at Alex and Cas as they shifted uncomfortrably,"She joined The Asgardian Knights to protect the king, that's all she wanted since she was 5 years old." I looked at them and nodded then to change the subject I asked what everyone else does now. They immediately brightened up and Noah was the first to speak" I usually stay in the woods away from everyone but sometimes I go and visit friends if they need help or if someone hires me for a job, most of my jobs are assassinations so they pay a lot which is pretty nice," I kinda saw that coming and chuckled then waited for everyone elses answers.

"Cas, Lydia and I all adventure together and we go on quests for nobles and regular town people that aren't equipt to handle it. We did have another member but he....he didn't make it out alive on his last adventure", I looked at Alex and his expression hardened then I pulled him into a hug and he relaxed a bit. I smiled at everyone then walked over to Lydia and held out my hand for her to shake it and she did,"We haven't been properly introduced. Im Ryan-","-Lydia".

"So, what kind of adventures have you guys been on?"

Alex sat on the counter and smiled," Well, me and Lydia go to Haven Hills and we all went to The Tombs to find some of the sacred gems baried with King David and his husband King Lui. Cas and I went to The Swamps to negotiate a peace treaty with the ogres for King Luke. There are a few more but we need to go to the taverns to find The Blood Ruby.", I looked at him and my mouth dropped then I closed it and sighed,"No one has ever been able to find that supid ruby, and even if you did find it you would need the blood of a draconian, druid, and The Beast to activate it."

He looked at me then at Cas then she scoffed" I've got my connections, I can get The Beasts' blood no problem, Alex is going to get the draconian blood and Rosie is a druid, remember."

"I'm not letting you go alone Alexander, you'll get bitten and trust me that shit hurts. So when do you want to go get the blood anyway?"

"We could go now and have everything ready for when we find the stone", I nodded and grabbed my dagger then slid it in between my belt and my skin than went outside. Alex grabbed his horses lead then hopped onto his horse, I changed into my wolf form and wagged my tail then looked up at Alex and motioned for him to lead the way.
