The Adventure

Chapter 3

(Noahs P.O.V <3)

As Eli and I were about to leave I walked over to Alex and hugged him then went outside and untied the lead for my horse then saddled up and climbed onto her then stated towards the caves."When we get to the caves you have to listen to everything I say, it's extremely easy to get lost down there and there are usually draconian soldiers guarding the medicine. Be prepared to fight but you must be very careful the are sharp rocks and lots of slippery edges, they'll try and throw you off of them." Elis eyes widened slightly and nodded, I started to look for the clearing then grabbed the lead and pulled it slightly to the right then got down an tied her to a tree and climbed down. I walked towards the entrance of the cave and looked at Eli,"Remember to be quiet", and with that we went into the cave. As you walked in there were two different ways to go, left or right, we turned right then went to the ledge of  a platform and climbed down then we went down a corridor and there was another platform with a sharp drop. I heard voices about 8 meters away then I pushed Eli into the shadows and put a finger to my lips signaling for him to be quiet.

"Are you sure we're going to right way", a draconian asked impatiently to another soldier.

"Yes, now will you shut up!", the other soldier said. As I watched them walk closer to the corridor I saw one of them holding the medicine that we needed to save Lydia. I pointed towards them and whispered to Eli to take them out and be careful. Eli walked behind the one without the stone and grabbed him in a choke hold, I ran as the other one turned around and stabbed him in the heart, then grabbed the stone and put it in my backpack. As I turned around I saw Eli being pushed off the ledge of the platform by the draconian soldier, I ran at the soldier and pulled out my dagger then stabbed him in the neck. He screamed and I climbed down the ledge to help Eli, "Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit. Eli are you ok?", I frantically yelled all these questions as I saw a trickle of blood coming towards him. I looked up and saw that the soldier threw him at a bunch of jagged, sharp rocks and that one had gone through his heart. I looked at him and my blood ran cold I went up to him and took the necklace off his neck, Alex gave him it for their anniversary, I felt a few tears slide down my cheek then I ran to the entrance to leave the cave.

I grabbed the lead to Elis horse and tied it to the saddle of my horse then untied my horse and started towards the house. As I approached the house I saw Cas standing outside I tied the horses up and went over to her,"Wheres Eli?, she questioned. I looked at her and a few tears fell then she clutched her stomach and looked at me"What do we tell Alex......hes going to be crushed." I nodded and reached into my backpack and handed her the rock,"I'll tell him to come out here"

(Alexs P.O.V)

I saw Cas come in with the rock that we needed for Lydia then she looked at me and I could see something was wrong, she looked sad"....Alex, Noah needs you outside". I looked at her and nodded then went outside and saw him sitting with Elis horse, but I didn't see him anywhere.

"Noah....where's Eli at?", I looked at him and he had the same look Cas had, his eyes no longer held the brightness they had before, they were sad and looked glossy.

"I'm so sorry Alex.....he..he didn't make it. He was fighting a soldier and then the soldier got him and threw him over the edge. I couldn't save him, the rock pierced through his heart. I.....I grabbed this for you," he handed me the necklace I got Eli for our 3 year anniversary, I still remember the expression on his face, pure happiness he loved it. It was his favorite color, neon green, it was a locket and had a picture of our friends and a picture of us. I took it from Noah and fell to the ground and sobbed. My love, my world, it was all gone. Noah hugged me and took me inside as I cried, Cas came over to me and hugged me,"It'll be alright, you can make it through this", I cried harder and clutched his necklace. I went to my room and cried myself to sleep.

(Ok first of all this chapter made me cry and second I hope you enjoyed reading it. I'm still trying to make these chapters longer and so far it's going great{832 words}. Have a nice night or day<3)
