The Adventure

Chapter 11

(Elis p.o.v)

After I left my old home I began to walk back to my new family, I said the word outloud and it sounded...wrong, it left a bitter taste in my mouth and sent little shivers down my spine. Oh well, I'll never get used to that, I sighed. I approached the opening and it felt wrong, there was a strong eerie feeling to it, then I slowly walked to the dropoff and jumped down, after I landed I walked down the corridor and to the overhang and jumped again. The distances between those jumps were easily more than 30 feet but I didn't worry at all, I could only die by the hand of my new father because he is the one that brought me back to life.

I sighed and walked down a few series of corridors and was finally at our dining hall, there were two doors, one on the left and one on the right. The one on the right led to the female sleeping quarters and the one on the left led to my fathers commanding room and then there was a door that led to a corridor and would take you to my room and my mother and fathers room. I went through the left door and saw my father standing over his big round table looking at a map of the surface then as he heard me enter he looked at me and his eyes were filled with rage and saddness,"Where the hell have you been?! While you were gone someone stole The Blood Ruby and they killed Vine Blight....", his eyes were filled with saddness now and he looked at me again,"Sorry....me and him....we were friends." I nodded in understandment and left to go to my room.

I layed on the bed on my back and placed my arm over my eyes,"I did the right thing.....right? What am I saying of course I did, Noah would have died if I didn't and I couldn't let that happen." I sat up and put my head in my knees when there was fast but soft knocking on the door,"Come in." My new mother stepped in and I smiled and got up, she closed the door and looked at me with worry in her eyes and she pushed a medium size backpack into my arms.

"Eli you must leave this place and hide far away from here! Your father knows that you killed Blight. He has decided that you will either be killed or yo will kill the man you saved and you and I both know that you won't kill your friend." she looked at me and I couldn't stop the tear that fell then I put the pack on and hugged her.

"Please come with me, you know that he'll kill you if he ever finds out what you did. I don't want to lose you."

She looked at me with teary eyes and she gently shook her head"I know what he'll do....he robbed me of the sweet release of death and I hate him for that. When I jumped off that overhange I wanted to die and he saved me because of my beauty, he thought I'd be a perfect wife." She was right, she was beautiful. She had long white hair and soft features with beautiful chocolate brown eyes. She had been an amazing mother and we grew close during those two weeks and I will regret not being able to be here but I have to warn them."Now go, warn your friends. Get them out of here."

I hugged her one last time and smiled then I ran. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me, through the corridors and the dining hall then out of the cavern to the wall and I climbed up then ran some more and climbed the final wall. As I made it to the opening I heard heavy footsteps echo throughout the taverns and if I had to guess I'd say they were about to climb the wall. I started running to my old home and I wiped away the few tears that fell from my face.

(Sorry this chapter took so long to get out I was trying to figure out what I wanted to happen but I have a few ideas and Im super excited to get to work on writing and I will starting a new oneshot book of the banana bus squad. I absolutely love them and there all amazing people who just want to make people smile and I think thats wonderful but anyway I hope you enjoyed and have a nice day BUH BYE<3)
