Chapter 10

Alex p.o.v

As I woke up from my nap I looked outside and saw that it was now night, I yawned and carefully got up then yawned and stretched. I moved a pillow into my position so Ryan wouldn't notice I left, then I kissed his head and went to the kitchen then put a pot of water and the kettle on to boil then I got some carrots,potatoes,corn,and peas out and washed the potatoes and carrots then cut them up and put everything in the water. I got a few more potatoes and beef and cut them up then put the beef in with everything else and put the other potatoes in a seperate pan to cook then I got two cups down and put a rasberry tea pack in a cup and mixed berry in the other then poured water in them. I hummed and went to Lydias door and knocked softly, she stayed up late almost every night, then she opened the door and smiled"I'm making food and tea you want some?"

"Yes please-"she followed me to the kitchen"-so what are you cookin' good lookin'?"

I chuckled and shook my head"Beef stew you dork and I'm making you some mixed berry-your favorite- tea" she smiled and yawned.

"So....what's up with Ryan? Are you guys like...a thing? Do you like him? Does he like you?" she blurted out these questions as I got two bowls out of the cupboard and a plate then put stew in one of the bowls and potatoes and the plate then handed her the tea and the bowl and fixed me a glass of ice water and sat down.

I sighed"Ryan and me grew up together...I had a cruch on him back then and I don't really think I ever got over him. I-I don't know whether he likes me or not but I'm not willing to risk our friendship so I'm happy with just being friends." she looked at me and sighed then continued eating and looked back up at me.

"You really should-" before she could finish her sentence Ryan walked in and yawned then rubbed his eyes and came over and sat by me then layed his head on my shoulder. I blushed lightly and hummed then"-we will continue this convrsation tomorrow ok?". I nodded and got up then took Lydias bowl and glass and mine then cleaned them up and got some stew and Ryans tea and put them in front of him then he started eating."I'm going to go to sleep have fun you to~" Ryan and I both blushed then I looked down and smiled a little.

"This is really good thanks" the small compliment sent butterflys straight to my stomach then he got up and cleaned his bowl and cup then put them away and we went to the living room and I put on a scary movie and grabbed a blanket then Ryan sat beside me and wrapped an arm around my shoulders and I smiled. After about 15 minutes I heard the front door open and Noah walked in clutching his chest then me and Ryan both rushed over to him and I started healing him.

"What the hell happened?"

"After I grabbed the ruby I started climbing the wall to leave the cavern and then Vine Blight grabbed my ankle and threw me across the cavern. He almost killed me but-" then he walked to the door and motioned for someone to come in"-but...Eli saved me and killed Blight."As he said Elis name he walked through the door and I just stared at him.

He took one step towards me and I took a step back then he stared at me this time, his eyes were filled with hurt,saddnes and a little happiness."W-What....n-no your....your supposed to be dead. H-How are you...alive?"He took another step towards me and I took a few steps back then my back hit the counter and he took one more step towards me. I frantically looked at Ryan and he came over to me and wrapped his arms around me and a low growl excaped his throat. Eli looked at me and him and my eyes started tearing up then I started crying"W-Why....w-what?"

"I'm so sorry Alex, if I would've known that this would hapen I would have stayed away....the liche king brought me back to life...he liked me and decided I would be a good edition to his army, family thing. I can't stay for long.....c-can we go outside and talk? Please."Ryan glared at him and pulled me closer to his chest, I nodded and slowly went towards him, Ryan lightly pulled on my waist and I hugged him.

"I'll be right back Ohmie. I promise." he nodded and looked down then me and Eli both went to the backyard and we sat in the grass.

"I'm sorry I didn't come back....I thought that I would only mess up everything. When I saved him he said you were happy again...and I wanted to see that one last time, I didn't want to think of you crying and laying in bed all day. I-I had to make sure you were really ok..." I looked at him and he sighed then pulled his knees to his chest"So, what's the deal with that guy...is he Ryan? Noah mentioned that you and an old friend were recently reunited......"

"Yea...that's Ryan."

".....does he love you? Are you in love with him?" He looked at me and his eyes were tearing up and I just stared at him,"I mean I want you to move on and he seems....protective."

Ryans p.o.v

I glared at Noah after they went outside and he looked at me and sighed"Why would you bring him here? Alex was happy and now he's all sad again?!?!"

He looked at me and motioned for me to sit at the table with him so I did then he looked at me"I'm sorry for bringing him back but it needed to be done. They both needed closure...all Eli could think of was Alex laying in bed all day and crying his eyes out and Alex never got the chance to say goodbye to him. He thought that they would be together forever and then Eli died...you have no idea what Alex was going through before you came back to us. Now that he gets to stay goodbye he'll finally get to move on and love again...you and I both know that, that is what needs to be done." I looked at him and growled then sighed and rubbed my eyes.

"Your right...I know your right but it's just so hard to see him like that. The only other time I've seen him cry like that is when they took me away and that killed me, I couldn't comfort him,couldn't hold him because I was stuck in a cage and they were taking me away." He looked at me and nodded in understanding.

"You've been in love with him since we were kids....it was always obvious to everyone but you to that you guys were perfect for each other and you still are. He needs to get that closure so you two can finally be happy again." As Noah finished saying that Alex and Eli walked back into the house and Alex walked over and I stood up and hugged him tightly.

"I think it's time I left. Maybe I could come back another time." then Eli left and Noah got up and walked to the guest bedroom then me and Alex were alone.

He looked at me and blushed lightly"Ohmie?....C-Can I tell you something?"

"Of course Alex."

"I think....I think I'm in love with you..."as he said this I got butterlfies in my stomach and a huge smile formed on my face then I kissed his forehead.

"I'm in love with you to Alex." then he smiled and I felt my heart flutter then he hugged me and we went back to the couch and continued our movie from earlier. I layed on the couch and Alex layed in between my legs with his head on my chest and he yawned and snuggled into me, I layed a blanket over us and soon my eyelids became heavier and I fell asleep with my love in my arms.

(Ok so I really like writing this chapter and I think that it was ok but anyway let me know what you guys thought. I'm also thinking of creating a oneshot book with al my favorite ships and stuff, should I? Anyway have a nice day BUH BYE<3)
