"We need to go find them." I blurted out a moment later.
"Wait, what?" Jungkook stammered, stepping away from the wall he had been leaning on, "No, you can't."
I crossed my arms like a little kid when they didn't get the toy they wanted at the store. "Well, why not?"
"Because!" Jungkook snapped, "I brought you here to keep you safe from BTS. Once you woke up, I was going to bring you back home, and find your friends myself. Once I found them, they would go home safely too."
"And why does that mean that I can't help?" I countered.
"They wanted you, Micha. You. They could care less about your friends and what happens to them," Jungkook argued, "And they'll be willing to get you back at any chance they get. If we sit here waiting with you in plain sight, they'll take their chance. It'll be over for you, much quicker than you think."
"Come on, how hard can it be?" I insisted.
Jungkook let out a nervous laugh, "I don't think you understand! BTS... they're the most dangerous gang for miles around. There's no stopping them with one person, let alone two. Even if you tried, you wouldn't be much help... You don't know this place like I do."
I sighed in defeat. I didn't know who he was, I only knew his name... How was I supposed to be any help if I hadn't been here before? Plus, if I could take his word for this, then I'm guessing he had a pretty good knowledge of everything on this side of town.
But instead of listening to what my mind told me, my instincts told me to argue, and fight my way through. I always got what I wanted.
"Then teach me."
Jungkook staggered back. "W-What?"
"Help me learn about this place. Tell me about BTS," I argued, "I know I won't be much help, but two is better than one. And if you know as much as I assume, you'll be the perfect person to teach me."
"Micha, this isn't something you can just teach!" Jungkook snapped, taken aback. "I know everything I know through first-hand experience, from watching them and other gangs my entire life... You won't understand the half of it."
I let out an exasperated sigh, "Then tell me what you can explain. I'm sure I'll learn enough along the way." I insisted. I needed to get my way, and find them.
Jungkook looked to the ground, and sighed again. He knew he was defeated, there's no way I could lose now. "You know what? Fine."
I let out a small chuckle. "Oh, really?"
He looked away from the ground to glare at me, straight in the eyes. "Yes, really. I'm tired of this childish arguing! This is a serious matter, and you just don't get that! If I didn't let you work with me, it would be an annoying trip back home, with you whining the whole time..." He sneered.
"Wow, you're so nice! Thanks!" I gushed sarcastically, with a giant fake smile painted across my face.
Jungkook rolled his eyes, "You're totally welcome. And this'll only work on one condition," He added.
I tilted my head, "What?"
"You need to listen to everything I say, and follow all orders I give. One mistake, and we'll be in big trouble." Jungkook cautioned, crossing his arms.
I scoffed. This Jungkook asshole needs to stop acting like he's the toughest guy out there. Clearly, I'm perfectly skilled enough for this, I don't get why he can't see that.
"Woah, I don't know about that... I need to have at least some say! It's my friends we're talking about here." I argued, and Jungkook shook his head.
