"So, what's the story?"
I was too busy reading my instagram comments and disabling them because the guys got out of control that I almost missed Hannah's question, but I looked up and raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Behind you, Justin and Bryce? During our tour, you definitely made sure to point them out as people we should stay away from." Jessica said and I nodded because I did.
I wasn't ready to open up to girls I just met today about what happened. "Let's just say, Justin, Bryce and I used to be very close. They've been my friends since 5th grade and last year, Justin let me down and it almost got me seriously hurt, by Bryce." I said and both girls frowned.
"I'm so sorry." Jess said.
"Man, it's too bad he sucks. . because he's really cute, Justin that is." Hannah said and I laughed. There's no denying Justin's attractiveness, you have to be blind if you don't think that Justin is physically attractive.
"Yeah, he really is." I said, shaking my head as I took a sip of my hot chocolate and both girls looked at me with smirks on their faces. "What?"
"You're totally into him!" Jessica exclaimed and I shook my head. Was I once? For sure, but after what happened, I couldn't trust him, so, that was out of the window.
"I am not. You saw the way I was talking to him." I said.
"Which is exactly how I know you're into him. Come on! Your best friend? The best friends are always destined to fall in love." Jessica said and I shook my head.
"Not us." I said.
"Okay, then what about Jeff?" Hannah asked. I laughed, everyone always thinks that Jeff and I are dating, but I can't say I blame them. We flirt all the time, we cuddle a lot, we're always touching each other and acting like a couple. But we both know it's fake and we don't have romantic feelings for each other like that. I mean, I'm completely in love with Jeff.
But not in a romantic way, if that makes sense.
"Oh, Jeff is for sure a solid infinity out of 10, like his looks are undeniably hot, and yes, I'm totally in love with him, like as my best friend, but I could never date him. I just can't see myself with him in that way." I said and both girls nodded.
"But if either one of you would like to be set up with him. Let me know and I got you." I said, winking at them and they both laughed.
"Thanks for inviting us out here. I mean you were assigned to be our tour guide, but you didn't actually have to hang out with us." Jess said and I shook my head.
"Are you kidding? As much testosterone I'm around all the time because they're the only friends I have, being around people with equal levels of estrogen as me, is quite refreshing." I said and they both laughed.
"You definitely have a way with words." Hannah said and I winked at her.
"All apart of my charm. You know? I have a good feeling about us. I think the three of us are going to be really great friends." I said, lifting up my mug of hot chocolate and the two girls in front of me did the same.
"Cheers to a hot chocolate friendship."

This was mainly a filler chapter. I'm trying to make each tape at least 2 present time chapters with 2 flashback chapters to go with them.
