THIRD PERSON'S POV

Imogen didn't know where her name came up in the tapes, but since Hannah said, whoever is listening, your name pops up, she knew it was coming. She just didn't know where, and she couldn't think of any reason why. She knew that she was nice to Hannah. . sometimes, she had her moments, after their friendship fell out, but she didn't think she was so rude to her that she caused Hannah to kill herself.

Her and Jeff spent a lot of their time trying to get Clay and Hannah together.

Imogen was thinking, if she didn't like Hannah, would she really spend all that time trying to hook her up with her brother. She will admit, she wasn't that good of a friend to her. There were times where jock world kind of overtook her life, but she never stopped caring about Hannah.

She still cared now.

You've arrived at my first house in this shitty town where I threw my first and only party and where I met Justin Foley, the subject of our first tape. It was just a party. I didn't know it was the beginning of the end. Justin, you were in love with my friend Kat. My only friend."

Imogen stopped at her locker, pausing the tape recording, but leaving the headphones in her ears. So, her boyfriend was the first reason her ex-friend decided to kill herself. Imogen shook her head, but thinking back to what Hannah was talking about. She remembered that party, Clay made her go because like Hannah, Imogen was just getting back into town when Hannah first got here.

She was happy when she saw Zach there, but she didn't realize Justin was going to be there too, even though she should've since Justin's girlfriend was throwing the party, at Hannah's house. When Imogen first got back to town, her and Justin didn't really get along much anymore. Imogen was mad at him for what he did in the previous year. She didn't want to talk to him, but that didn't stop him from trying to talk to her.

But she also remembered that he was with Kat. Imogen never had any problems with Kat, but she didn't seem like the kind of girl Justin would date. She was about to press play again, when she heard something else.

"Earth to my girlfriend, hello." Imogen looked up to see Justin standing at her locker and snapping in front of her face. She took her headphones out of her ears and gave him an apologetic smile.

"Sorry, J. What's up?" She asked him, and Justin chuckled and pointed to her headphones.

"I was asking what are you listening to?" He said, and Imogen looked down at their feet contemplating her answer. Does she tell him that she's listening to tapes Hannah left around after her suicide? Or would he think she's crazy? And the fact that he's reason number 1 on why she's dead, she decided she wouldn't tell him.

Not yet, anyway.

"Oh. . just some new music, no big deal." She said, taking both of her headphones out, and shoving them down in her bag and giving Justin a small smile.

"Are you feeling better today?" He asked and Imogen almost asked if she was feeling better about what, and then she remembered she told Justin she wasn't feeling well yesterday and she nodded her head.

"Yeah, a lot better. Thanks." She said, and Justin nodded his head and kissed her cheek.

"Hey, we're all going to Bryce's after school, you coming?" Justin asked, and Imogen raised an eyebrow as she looked at him. Justin knew how she felt about Bryce. She hated him, and she has for a long time.
