FLASHBACK SUMMER BEFORE JUNIOR YEAR JESSICA DAVIS' HOUSE BEFORE THE ASSAULT THIRD PERSON'S POV
[A/N: Jeff's accident happened after the assault, but to give you guys one last moment between our two best friends, I just shifted some things around. Also, I recommend listening to the song FRIENDS by Annamarie for the beginning part of this flashback]
"Imogen, Imogen, come here."
Sheri Holland called out for her best friend, when a new song came over the speakers. Grabbing Jeff's hand to pull him along with her, the two of them approached Sheri and the girl was smiling. "What's up?" She asked.
"This song. . listen, we could make the greatest dance." She said, and Imogen did. She stopped and listened to the first verse that was already in progress.
". .you're not my lover, more like a brother, I've known you since we were like 10, yeah. Don't mess it up, talking that shit. . only gonna push me away that's it. When you said you loved me, that made me crazy, here we go again."
Imogen nodded her head as she listened to the beat, and then she looked at Sheri. "I got something, follow my lead." She said, and Sheri nodded her head, as Imogen started to throw out a couple of dance moves that were easy to follow, right as the beat drop.
"Don't go look at me with that look in your eyes. You really ain't going away without a fight. You can't be reasoned with I'm done being polite. I've told you one, two, three, four, five, six thousand times."
Pretty soon, the girls had a crowd of people and phones around them, as Imogen came up with a dance on the spot, Sheri following her moves, and adding in a few of her own. Jeff was one of the ones holding up his phone, looking like a proud boyfriend as he watched his best friend dance.
"Yes! Mimi, get it!" Jeff hollered, which caused the girl to laugh, and Jeff posted his video to snapchat.

"F-R-I-E-N-D-S. That's how you fucking spell friends. F-R-I-E-N-D-S, get that shit inside your head." To this point, Imogen came up and grabbed Jeff hands, pulling him out into the middle of the circle and Jeff shook his head, and Imogen laughed.
"Lift me up goof, just feel the music. Wait, Sheri. . backflip on beat." She said and everyone cleared out of the way as the two girls lined up to do a flip, and they executed it perfectly right as the beat dropped on the last chorus and everyone cheered.
