FLASHBACK
SOPHOMORE YEAR
IMOGEN JENSEN'S BEDROOM
THIRD PERSON'S POV

Imogen Jensen was lying in her bed thinking about the things she and Jeff talked about a few weeks ago. She had been giving it a lot of thought, and giving Justin a lot of looks in the hallway, but still didn't talk to him. She's picked up her phone, and drafted texts to him, but never sent them. She meant what she said when she said that she missed him, but she just felt like she had pushed him away for so long he wouldn't want anything to do with her anymore.

She rolled over, and then got out of bed, because she couldn't sleep, and right as she was about to go downstairs, she heard a knock at her window. When she slowly turned around she jumped, because she saw someone on the outside of the window, and she was frozen. She couldn't make out who it was, and she didn't know what they wanted.

"Imogen. . it's me, can I come in please." She heard Justin's voice on the other side and she let out a breath of relief, and she walked to her window and opened it up, letting him come through, and he closed the window behind him, and Imogen took a step back.

"You scared the shit out of me." She said, and Justin frowned.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." He said, and she sighed. It's amazing how she was just thinking about him, and now he just appeared at her window. She didn't call him, she didn't text him, she didn't do anything. She just thought about him, and there he was.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, and then she noticed something. He was staggering in the way he was standing. Usually Justin has pretty good posture, always standing up straight, things like that, but now he was staggering, and when she took a closer listen, she could hear the shallowness of his breathing.

"I. . I didn't know where else to go." He said, and his voice was slow, his words came out slow and almost slurred, and she noticed Justin start to stumble, and she quickly walked to him, and held him up and lightly put him down on her bed.

"Justin." She whispered, and her hands reached out towards his shirt, because she had a suspicion of what was going on with him. She had a feeling that his ribs were either bruised or broken, because his breathing was shallow and slow.

"I don't know why she keeps letting him back into our house." Justin said, and Imogen immediately knew that he was talking about Seth, his mother's abusive, drug addict boyfriend, or like Justin likes to call him, 'Meth Seth.'

Imogen slowly lifted up his shirt and she frowned at the purple and bluish bruises that lined his ribs, and Justin looked down and then he looked back up at the ceiling and he cringed up in pain. She put his shirt back down, and then she noticed the cut on his lip, and a bit of bruising on his cheek, and she gently laid her finger down on his cheek.

Justin was only grateful that Imogen didn't toss him out, but the feeling of her skin touching against his, was something that he wouldn't resist. Justin ran his fingers back through her hair and cupped her cheeks and he gently pulled her face towards his and pressed his lips against hers.

Imogen was at first caught off guard, but when she fell into groove, she moved her lips back against Justin's. A feeling that she had been thinking about doing for a long time. Justin continued to run his fingers back through her hair, until eventually moving them down her back, just wanting to feel the contact of their skin together.

Imogen pulled herself away from the kiss and she laid her hands softly on Justin's lap, and her lips were pressed against his neck. Justin's eyes closed as he let the feeling take over him, and he pulled Imogen off the ground and on top of him, needing to have her close to him. His arms wrapped tightly around her, as Imogen continued to kiss his neck before making her way back to his lips, and Justin moved her hair out of the way as he kissed her back.
