SANDERSON UNIVERSITY
IMOGEN'S POV
"Clay! Imogen! Ani... hi." I heard my dad's voice. I was about to go find Jessica because we were in the same group and unfortunately, Justin was also going to be in that group, but I'm glad that my dad found us first.
"Hey, Dad." Clay and I said at the same time.
"I'm your official tour greeter." He said with a smile on his face. I know it would make my dad really happy if we came here. I mean, I love my parents and I wouldn't mind staying home for college. As I said, if I came here, I would get to go for free since my Dad teaches here, so it would be a great way for me to save my parents' money, and then living at home rent-free and still working at the Crestmont, I can save money for myself.
"Consider us officially greeted." Clay said.
"Hi, Mr. Jensen! Excuse me...-" Ani was about to walk off and I was going to excuse myself right along with her, but then, of course, Justin walked up.
"How beautiful is this place? I mean, I can't believe I've lived in Evergreen this entire time, and I've never been here." He said.
"Listen, I hope you three don't mind, but I arranged a meeting with the Dean of Admissions after the tour," Dad said and my eyes widened.
"Really? Dad, that's awesome!" I exclaimed.
"Does that sound good? Clay?" He asked with a smile on his face since Clay had yet to say anything. Clay snapped back into the conversation and nodded his head.
"Yeah, that sounds great." He said.
"Professor Jensen. Hi, thank you so much for hosting." Bolan greeted my dad and I tapped Ani on the shoulder signaling that this was our cue to walk away. And I did walk away as the lady announced that there needed to be two groups. I was with Justin, Ani, Jessica and various other people and our tour guide was a blonde who looked like she was also still a student here, and Justin was lapping up her every word.
It was sickening.
"The School of Architecture is housed in one of the most significant buildings on campus." She said and I rolled my eyes.
"Immy... do you know where your brother went?" Ani asked.
"Look at Justin... totally crushing on that Amanda bitch..." I said as I watched them talk to each other. They were laughing and then she laid her hand on Justin's arm real quick and that was it. I raised my hand. "Excuse me! Amanda, right?" I asked.
"Yes?" She asked.
"Yeah, your website claims that Sanderson has a rate of sexual assault that's way below the national average. But isn't it true that most claims are adjudicated in private sessions with no transparency or legal responsibility?" I asked.
"Uh... I don't know." She said.
"Well, don't you think as a woman on campus, you should find out?" I asked and I knew I had her stumped. Justin looked pretty awkward and so did she, which was my point.
"Our student body president... Professor Jensen's daughter," Bolan announced which made me smile a little. Amanda's face slightly paled when she heard I was the daughter of a professor here, and if she's taken any basic literature class, she probably had my dad, but he teaches advanced classes too.
"Okay..." Amanda said awkwardly while I just smiled and turned the other way. Jessica linked her arm through mine and she was laughing.
"Nice."

"So, you're not actually thinking about going here, are you?" Justin asked me later in the tour. I raised an eyebrow. So what if I was?
