IMOGEN'S POV

"Now that we got out of the way what was my fault, and again. I apologize for snapping all of your olive branches in half, but now let's talk about the other side, and I think you know where I'm going with this, don't you, MiMo? Before the party you and Jess threw at Jessica's house, you threw a much smaller one, at your house, because your parents and Clay were out of town, remember? Because I do. How could I ever forget that night?"

"I'm serious. I want to throw a party. I know we are throwing like a back-to-school one, open for anyone to come to, but I want to throw one that's like exclusive invite only." Jessica and I were laying in her bed. Her head was at the head of her bed and I was laying at the foot of her bed, so basically her feet were by my head and my feet were by her head.

"Okay, sounds like a good idea. You wanna do it here?" She asked, and I shook my head.

"No, let's do it at my house. Parents and Clay are out of town, and since we're doing the back-to-school one here." I said and Jess nodded her head.

"Yeah, that makes sense. I still can't believe you convinced them to let you stay." She said, and we both started laughing.

"Use the old I went to rehab and missed out on spending time with my friends guilt trip. Works every time." I said, shrugging my shoulders and Jessica laughed.

"Well, I haven't been to rehab, so it doesn't work for me." She said, and I smiled. "Who do you want to invite?" She asked.

"You, Justin, of course. Zach, Monty, Jeff. . Bryce can come because who else is going to get liquor for us?" I said, and we both started laughing.

"True." She said.

"Sheri, maybe Tony will come out if I invite him, but I don't know how he feels about everyone else." I said, shrugging my shoulders and Jessica nodded.

"Wait, maybe we should invite Ryan and then you know he'll have Tony come." Jess said.

"Oh yeah! I almost forgot that they were dating. Duh, okay. Maybe a couple of the other guys from the sports team, but that's really it." I said, and Jessica nodded her head.

"Okay, when are we doing this?" She asked.

"Next week?" I asked.

"Your party, babe. You just gotta get the word out about it." She said.

"That will be no problem. Also. . I was thinking." I said, and Jessica gave me a look and I could tell she was thinking it was one of my crazy ideas.

"Every time you have an idea. We end up drunk out of our asses with the guys at some random location." She said, and I laughed.

"No, not one of those ideas. About who to invite to the party." I said, and she raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah?"

"What if I invite Hannah and Alex? I mean. . all the shit that happened sophomore year is over, it's the summer. We're about to start a new year, maybe we should all just start over. Who knows, maybe get our Monet's trips going again?" I said, and Jessica looked at me considering for a moment before she nodded her head with a smile on her face.

"Honestly. I think it's a great idea. And you're right, we're about to start a new year, so why focus on the things of the past." She said, and I smiled.
