God corrects people by sending sickness and filling their bodies with pain.

God's Word
God is our Evelasting Father, He knows what's best for us. If we went wrong and lost from His path, He will surely correct us and lead us to go back in His righteous path.
God allows trials to go on our way so that we will never forget to call upon His Name. And the most hardest thing is when we continue to go back in our old life and ignoring Him. In that case, God will struck us by disease or deep pain for us to acknowledge Him Who holds our future.
God doesn't want ourlives be in vain. Because He loves us, He disciplined us. He only wants to direct our paths. Always remember, God's correction brings life.
Remember that the LORD your God corrects and punishes you just as a father disciplines his children.
