PSALMS CHAPTER 103
Memory Verse
Bless the Lord , O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
Psalms 103:2 NKJV
God's Word
God has many benefits for us. We are so blessed for receiving His Son Jesus Christ in our lives because we can enjoy the benefits of having an eternal life.
These are the following benefits:
1. We Are Forgiven
It is an amazing fact that even though we have been sin a lot but still God forgiven us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I John 1:9 NKJV
2. We Are Accepted
The acceptance that we do to Christ as our Lord and Savior gave us an opportunity to become sons and daughters of God.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
John 1:12 NKJV
3. We Received New Life
It is glad to know that we became a new person because of Christ and we can now live with a new life.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV
4. Eternal Life
This is the very important benefits that we received because of our beliefs in Jesus Christ our Lord. This is also what many people nowadays looking for.
And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
I John 5:11-13 NKJV
Let us not forget the benefits that we received by believing in Christ. Always remember it and keep it in our hearts.
