PSALMS CHAPTER 96

Memory Verse

Give to the Lord the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come into His courts.
Psalms 96:8 NKJV

God's Word

To give glory upon His Name is to obey the Word that we received from Him.
Literary, giving offering to God is bringing something that you have in His temple or in the church where you belong. Always remember that all things in this world is from God and for Him. Once we give an offering be sure that you have a cheerful heart as for you to receive blessings from the Lord.

So  let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
II Corinthians 9:7 NKJV

Then, spiritually, we must offer our lives to God as a pleasing sacrifice in His presence. Meaning to say that let God cleanse us from all unrighteousness through our repentance and by the blood of Jesus. Then, we must serve Him with all our hearts and do what pleases Him. For sure we will be blessed and we shall have a bright future. Jesus Himself offer His life for us to be saved.

Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come— In the volume of the book it is written of Me— To do Your will, O God.’ ” Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in  them ” (which are offered according to the law), then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second. By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for  all.
Hebrews 10:5‭-‬10 NKJV
