PSALMS CHAPTER 15
Memory Verses
Lord , who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart; He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend; In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear the Lord ; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change; He who does not put out his money at usury, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.
Psalms 15:1-5 NKJV
God's Word
To stand firm in faith is not only being a knowledgeable person about the Word, but being a person who applies the Word in the World.
We shall see in this chapter that a man who will not be move is a man who walk uprightly.
Walking uprightly means to be with God in every moment of your life. It was a decision to do the things that we need to do according in His Word.
As we do good to others, giving honor for those people that He used for us and having fear in Him, we shall surely stand firm in the faith that we have from Him.
In other words, to stand firm in Faith is to love God and to love people.
Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
Matthew 22:37-39 NKJV
