Memory Verse
Will your riches, Or all the mighty forces, Keep you from distress?
Job 36:19 NKJV
God's Word
Distress
: unhappiness or pain
:suffering that affects the mind or body
: a very difficult situation in which you do not have enough money, food, etc.
Have you been distressed? Or until now you are distress?
Many people who face difficult situations find rest from their own ways. That's why after their enjoyment, nothing happens. Distress are still with them.
Whatsoever we do, or whatever we have, it will never replace our needs that only God can give.
It is very clear that only in Him can we shall find rest. Let us seek Him first and He will give rest for us.
Admit to ourselves that we are weak, for in our weakness God is our strength. From nothing He is our Everything. From darkness, He is our Light. From bondage, He is our Freedom. From curse, He is our Blessing.
God is all we need, let us not be distress by the weight of this world. We will never fight alone. As long as we have God in ourlives, we shall never be distressed.
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
