JOB CHAPTER 7
Memory Verses
As the cloud disappears and vanishes away, So he who goes down to the grave does not come up. He shall never return to his house, Nor shall his place know him anymore.
Job 7:9-10 NKJV
God's Word
Each one of us has only one life. And once we died we shall no longer be remembered. But have you ever think that you can have a contribution into this world?
There's a lot of famous persons that until now their names was always be remembered because of what they had done.
How about you? Can you just sprout and leave the world for nothing? Or if ever that people will remember you, is it good or your bad deeds?
There is a Christian saying, "Only one life shall soon be passed, and only what's done for Christ will last." It means that even though we do have many achievements into this world but not give glory to God, it is all for nothing.
Time will come, that each one of us will face the Lord. And what we're going to do is to say what we have done for Him. Maybe we are not a well-known personalities in this world, but God will surely be proud of us even in the front of His angels if we do our works in His Kingdom while we are here on earth.
So that, the Lord also remind us of this:
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV
Heavenly treasures are doing what the will of God is. Let this one life be useful in God's Kingdom.
