MADDIE'S PERSPECTIVE
It's the last day of January and in a span of one week ill be celebrating my birthday once again, My life was complete already, I have a supportive family, friends that i can count on and a batchie/bestfriend that's always on my side and a loving partner it's been a year since then and luckily were still together.. I am now a graduating senior both in Academics and in the Volleyball program i cant wait to start the new season with my teammates.
" Ui Batchie! What's bothering you? lalim ng iniisip mo ah" I sighed and looked at her she was all smiles pero napawi din kase nakita niyang bothered ako
" Im just nervous about the up coming season, alam mo na we didnt made it last year sa finals and i want to get the crown to give us a proper exit that we deserve"
" Mads, I got you okay, the time will help you get through this and besides your birthday is coming up ill made sure na we will get tge win and ill be the POG para mabati naman kita 2 years in a row na tayong natatalo against NU eh pero i promise this time we will win 😁 so cheer up batchie" I was relieve dahil sa sinabi niya.. as we walk along the hallway nakita namin si Zoe yung partner ko
" Hi Bei, Hi Bu, San punta niyo?"
" Uhm i was on my way papunta sa next class ko nakita ko lang si Batchie sa hallway kaya ayun"
" Ano ka classmate kaya kita sa susunod na class baliw"
"Oh dont fight na you two, Uhm Bei usap lang muna kame ni Bu ah."
Bea left us pero im having weird feelings somethings wrong with Zoe this past few days naghanap kame ng bakanteng bench at saka umupo dun she was busy with her phone the whole time na naglalakad kame..
" Bu, Ano bang sasabihin mo sakin? saka sino ba yang katext mo kanina ka pa busy sa phone mo"
" Ah, S--si Cheska yung blockmate ko may cramming pala kame i-- i need to go ill see you Bu" i wasnt able to answer dahil umalis na agad si Zoe ugh sana pala di ko na pinaalis si Bea nakakainis now i have to walk alone papunta sa next class ko.
The Day Of My Birthday nagkita kame ni Zoe because she watches the game Bea being Bea was true to her words nanalo kame sa NU and she's the player of the game she's being interview by Threy, Yup she's the new courtside report that's her dream eh
" So Bea para kanino mo dinidedicate tong win niyo against NU?"
" Well of course sa family ko who support me throughtout the journey and to Maddie. Capt! Happiest Birthday I kept my promise let's celebrate later " napangiti ako dahil dun she kept her promise nga Zoe on the other hand was still busy with her phone and this time kausap na niya
- Yes, Ill tell her later dont worry okay? See you ill have to go bye
" Sinong kausap Bu? The game is done magaayos lang ako then will go to Bea's house and celebrate okay? " she nodded as an answer iniwan ko muna siya saka pumunta sa dugout i was lost on my thoughts kaya di ko napansin na Bea was walking beside me while holding a bouquet of sunflowers..
" Happy Birthday Batchie!, I know how you like sunflowers kaya pinasuyo ko yan kay Kuya Loel, Let's celebrate ah no buts naipaalam ka na namin kila Tita D and Tito JP hehehe " i fake a smile iniisip ko pa di kase si Zoe eh
" Wow thank you naman sa pinaka loyal na batchie, at ang lakas mo sa parent ko ah napapayag mo sila hahaha"
