We've been together for 7 years now, we both graduate at Ateneo, I decided to pursue my volleyball career in PSL while she pursue hers in PVL all is smooth sailing we both understand each other and we know how to give and take. it was last month when i notice that something is wrong with her. It felt like the passion was not there anymore i mean when we were in college she'll be wild to get points and such, before whenever i look into her eyes i see the happiness she felt everytime i watch her games the spark that we used to have when we look into one another but everything change and i dont know why. Today was our 7th Anniversary and i dont know if she will remember or if she'll have the energy to celebrate it with me.
" Hey Babe? Are you alright?" I asked as soon as she walk in the door i was planning to watch her games today but she said that i should not bother so i decided to just stay at home and cook for her.
" We lost the game to Banko, Coach is mad i dont know if im alright." She didnt remember i thought to myself as i hide my sad smile before answering her
" Do you want to take a rest already? I can prepare your hot bath if you want to?"
" No, ill be out tonight ill hang-out with Deanna and the college team, Would you like to come?" Ouch she forget it's our anniversary and now she'll be going out
" Nah, ill be fine here, i still have a semis to attend tomorrow would you be watching me?" She look at me confusedly
" Tomorrow's your semis? Gad i didnt know i said to Deanna that ill go with them sa Pico de Loro" triple kill!
" It's fine you have to unwind too, i guess ill see you on saturday? If your hungry there's a food in the dining and here, I bought this for you thought you might like it just like the old times" i hand her a boquet of blue roses and heads towards our room but before i even disappear she back hugged me.
" I know you'll be mad but hey i did not forgot about today im just stress lately happy anniversary Bei" she hand me a box and as i face her she immediately capture my lips and we head inside the room without breaking the contact..
Few minutes passed by, Maddie and I fall asleep snuggling with one another, I miss this kind of intimacy ever since we pursue our volleyball career into two different league we barely had time for one another.
I was facing Maddie as she fall asleep this chinita girl never fail to make me fall for her every single time. I can still remember how we would make out and cuddle with each afterwards Maddie's really the most wildest person if ever met. I was caressing her face when she wake up.
" What time is is Babe? Bakit gising ka na let's sleep pa please" i chuckle the inner kid is out
" I thought that you'll be going with the team tonight? Hang-out?" I asked but she snuggle even closer
" Nah, I decide to ditch them and be with you, I missed this Babe, Laying beside you cuddling, making love" and so it's settle we decide to be ourselves again after all the glitz and glamour.
MORNING came and i was expecting Maddie to be out already since she said she'll be going with Deanna on Pico de Loro but i was shocked when i felt her snuggling to me even more, i open my eyes and i saw her eyes closed i can't believe that even after all this years Maddie and I are still together i mean our relationship was tested althroughout our college years. I was memorizing her features when she suddenly open her eyes and gave me the most genuine smile.
" Good Morning Babe, I love you" i was frozen she was never this intimate early in the morning, She gave me a peck on the cheek and then head towards the bathroom naked. I guess she'll still go to Batangas after all. I put on my clothes and head to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for us, Maddie never wanted to learn how to cook but she loves to eat. As i was about to finish cooking Maddie suddenly appear at my back and hugged me.
