Chapter 25: The New Boyfriend

'Rose, what's wrong? Did I say anything wrong?' She questioned me as she put her arm around me.

I cried some more.

'Rose,  come on, what's wrong?' she said rubbing my back.

I was on my side, I turned around to face her, I was still crying. Cher was just rubbing my back

'It-its Stefan!' I cried

'Stefan? what did he do?' She said

I turned around and pointed at my phone, hoping she would understand I want her to pick it up

She understood, she went around the other side of my bed and got my phone which was still charging, and handed it to me. I unlocked my phone and saw what was on the screen, it was still on messages, I scrolled up a bit, Cher stood the in looking a bit confused, when I got to the correct point when Stefan first started talking to me. I handed her my phone. I closed my eyes as if I was going to sleep to calm down.. I took deep breathes.

      When she finished reading it all to the point Stefan said 'I'm sorry :(' she looked at me, I had my eyes open.

'Wow!' she said struggling to get it out 'So you like him and you didn't know all these years he has secretly liked you too!' she said thinking it all out.

I nodded

'And now, you found out that he likes you, hes saying that he isn't good enough for you?' she continued

'Yeah, because he says he has been in trouble with the police and I deserve better, well that's pretty much what he is saying..' I muttered as I sat up

'Wow!' She said, shocked

'Did I mention we kissed?' I added quickly, not looking her

'What?! No, you did not mention that!!!' She said with a surprised look on her face ' Rosa is going to be so jealous!' She said grabbing a sit

'You know Rosa? You have only been to school once and you already know Rosa?' I asked her changing the subject,  hoping she wouldn't ask me about the kiss.

'Oh yeah, she "Accidentally" bumped in between me and Jonnie!' she said, she grunted

'Oh!' I said

'Yeah, so, that kiss?' she said bring the kiss topic back up

Luckily, before I could say anything, Bels and Jonnie came in both giggling with their arms around each other.

Me and Cher both turned to them 'Wow! , whats so funny you're both laughing?' I asked

'Yeah, what's going on?' Cher added

'Nothing!' Jonnie laughed

Bels laughed too as if what Jonnie said was so funny. Me and Cher forced a small laugh.. 'Oh my god, Rose you okay?' Bels gasped noticing the dry tears down my face.

'What?' I asked

'You have been crying, whats wrong?' she said unhugged Jonnie and walking towards me

'Oh!'I said 'I'll tell you later' I said looking worried

'Okay,  well there is something my and Jonnie want to say now!' Bels announced looking at Jonnie.

Me and Cher just looked at each other.

'Me and Bels. .. are going out!' Jonnie said with a smile on his face

Me and Cher were not surprised, we saw it coming, but we acted as if we were shocked

'Oh my god!!' I started

'That is so cute!' Cher said walking over to them

'I'm so happy for you two, good luck!' I said holding my arms out

'Yeah me too!' Cher said hugging her brother. Bels walked over to me and  hugged me too

'Thanks you two, it means a lot' Bels said unhugging me.

'Its alright! You two are perfect for each other!' Cher added

Bels walked towards Jonnie and they both hugged and kissed. As they finished kissing, my phone vibrated again...
