I froze, Bels had the door open and had entered the house
'Whats wrong?' Bels said waving her hand in front of my face
I unfroze and fell into Bels arms, crying. She hugged me.
'Whats wrong?' Bels asked again rubbing my back
'It...its mum, she...she's de..de....dead!' I sniffed
Bels opened her mouth in shock
'What?' Bels said in shock, unhugging me but with her hands on my shoulder.
'Dad just text me, look!' I said, handing my phone, wiping my face.
Bels took my phone from my hand, she stood there for a minute reading the text, after she finished she hugged me and said sorry.
We stood there for 10 mins, every once and a while we unhugged and Bels would wipe my face with a tissue.
'The beach! we need to get ready!' I remembered, cleaning my face once more
'What? Your mum just died, your not going anywhere!' Bels unhugged (again)
'I know but at least you go! I'm bot going to let you miss an opportunity to hang out with Jonnie becuase of me.' I said put my hand on her hand
'What? No! I'm not going, if it were me, I would want a friend by me, so thats exactly what I'm going to do! Stay!' She said, closing the door
'No! I'm going to go home, to dad!' I said opening the door
'Then I'm going with you!' Bels insisted, putting one foot out side
'No! Go upstairs and get your Blue and Purple flower bikini and go to the beach!' I said pointing upstairs
'Oh thats my favourite! ... no no no I'm coming with you! Come on!' Bels said walking down the steps.
I signed.
Bels stood next to my car waiting for me to unlock the door, when I unlocked it, she opened the door and sat her self in the driver sit
'I'll drive!' She said clicking in her seat belt
'It okay, ill drive' I said wiping my face again
'No you cant!' Bels insisted
'Really I'm okay!' I said knowing that inside I'm not
'But..' Bels started
'Please!' I begged
Bels gave in, she stepped out the car and went around and opened the foor of the passenger seat.
I got in and buckled my seatbelt as did Bels
'Thanks' I said starting the car.
