Chapter 14
Megan
"Jared, stop!" I squealed breathlessly.
"Not a chance," he laughed.
Jared was on top of me, tickling me mercilessly. I was gasping for air, but he wouldn't stop. We were in my room, but rather than doing homework, Jared had decided to tickle me.
He was so evil at times.
"Oh my god, Jared. Stop. I can't breathe," I gasped.
"Megan, I'm not God, but I'm glad you consider me yours," Jared teased.
I narrowed my eyes at him and poked his cheek. He had stopped tickling me for the moment. I took that time to get my breath back.
"Please stop tickling me," I requested. "You're supposed to be helping me get through my homework."
"Fine. But only because you asked so nicely," he answered.
"Thank you," I told him, smiling.
Suddenly, Jared leaned down and kissed my cheek, his lips lingering. I felt the blood rush to my cheeks. My cheek was tingling even after Jared pulled away.
"You're so beautiful," he whispered while pressing his forehead against mine.
"I'm glad you think so," I managed to get out in a steady voice.
This boy did the strangest things to me.
"I would love to stay like this all day, but I do believe you needed some help with homework," Jared said with a crooked smile.
"Homework can wait," I told him, my eyes dropping down to his lips.
"Are you sure?" he asked, his voice husky.
"It is way too early for homework. Rain check?" I suggested.
"Mm. Gladly. There's something else I'd much rather be doing right now," Jared told me.
"What would that be?" I asked, trying to sound innocent.
In answer, Jared pressed his lips to mine. They were gentle, yet urgent. My eyes fluttered shut and my arms wrapped themselves around Jared's neck. He caressed my cheek, still kissing me.
I was on cloud nine as Jared's lips captured mine over and over again. He was amazing- his kisses full of passion. It felt as though it were about to become my addiction. In that moment, I knew I would never get enough of him.
Jared was trailing his lips across my throat. He bit and sucked gently on my soft spot. I involuntarily let out a soft moan. It felt so good.
"The things you do to me, Megan," Jared whispered huskily.
I shivered lightly. I loved the way my name sounded coming from him. I was a goner already.
"Jared," I whined, or tried to whine. It came out as a moan.
"Hmm?" he murmured, burying his head in my neck.
"Stop. I have a feeling we might do something that I'm not up to doing yet," I managed to get out.
Jared lifted his head and stared at me. His eyes were dark with lust and I knew mine were the same way. His hair was slightly messy from where I had run my fingers through it.
