(Whitney's POV)"Guys, I'm not seeing the emotion and passion that needs to be poured out into this number! Again!" I yelled at my backup dancers who failed to do what I had asked them to. I slumped down into one of the chairs set up for me in front of the stage.
"Sis?" My loving half brother Gary called out to me.
"Well? What did you find out?" An evil grin spread across his face before whispering into my ear.
"She's pregnant." Fire rose through my veins at my unsuspected new.
"She's WHAT?" Everyone turned to me in confusion at my sudden outburst.
"Did I say you could stop? Get back to work!" Gary grabbed my hand and brought me to the side of the stage where no one could bother us.
"She's pregnant, and she's a few weeks along. I say we make our move when we get our free chance!" He yelled in a whisper. I shook my head at the thought, it would take some really decent spies to kill her with all of the protection that she is under.
"We can't, Michael is going to be watching her like a hawk Gary. It would take some highly skilled people to be able to get near her and that's slim." I sighed. Everything that I want seems to be taken away from me, but I needed to figure out how to get what I wanted in this situation.
"Leave it to me, you worry about your tour and your self pity moments. I'll be late for tonight's rehearsals so don't bother worrying about me Whit." He grinned which made me release most of my stress.
"Thanks Gare, just take care of our little problem." Gary bent down to kiss my forehead before leaving me to my bigger problem.
...
(Anna's POV)
"Annie are you okay,
Will you tell us that you're okay
There's a sign at the window
That he struck you
A crescendo, Annie
He came into your apartment
He left the bloodstains on the carpet
Then you ran into the bedroom
You were struck down
It was your doom
Annie are you okay, so Annie are you okay, are you okay Annie?
Annie are you okay, so Annie are you okay, are you okay Annie?
Annie are you okay, so Annie are you okay, are you okay Annie?
You've been hit by,
You've been hit by,
A smooth criminal."I bobbed my head to the beat of Michael singing Smooth Criminal. To me, it was one of my favorites with its catchy beat and lyrics. Michael's smile never ceased since I told him that I was pregnant a few days ago. He's been more protective now that I have something inside me, but he has his reasons and I'm okay with it. Katherine made sure to call us every day to check in on us, asking how I'm feeling and if there have been any complications. It made me feel more at ease with things to know how caring she was about this. Most men who get women pregnant often have a hard time telling their family about it, mainly because they're worried that their parents might disown them or something. We still had my side of the family to tell since they live on the other half of the United States, but Michael and I still planned to surprise them as well. I went back stage to get something to drink while Michael continued to rehearse onstage, it still felt weird to not have Tatiana around anymore which made things seem a bit harder for me to adjust to. I feel bad that I haven't called her recently but with everything going on, there just hasn't been any time to call. I felt a pair of arms wrap around my abdomen as I picked up a water bottle sitting on a table surrounded by other energy drinks.
"Guess who?" I nearly jumped at Michael's surprise attack, causing my nerves to bounce in every corner of my body.
"God Michael, stop scaring me like that! I'm pregnant, don't mess with me." I warned him. He threw his head back in laughter before joining me.
"I'm sorry baby." He kissed the side of my head tenderly.
"Why aren't you onstage rehearsing like you're supposed to?" I raised my eyebrow at him, waiting for his answer.
"Well I didn't want you coming back here by yourself. I don't want you to have any accidents." I rolled my eyes at him.
"Michael I'm fine okay? Stop worrying so much about me, you have your whole tour to be freaking out about. Nothing is going to happen to me or our baby." He sighed heavily before pecking my lips with gentle care.
"I'm never going to get tired of you saying that. Our baby." He repeated, making me giggle in amusement.
"You're too much Michael." I walked him back to the entrance of the stage. He rushed back to where he was before, making sure to keep a keen eye on me throughout the rehearsal. I found my own fun when Bill came around to check on me. His presence made my time sitting there more amusing which gave me a bigger sense of relief.
"Do you need anything?" Bill asked me before getting up.
"I'm good right here, but thank you though." I held up my water bottle for Bill to see.
"Have you eaten anything today?" He gave me a quizzical look to which I turned away from.
"Michael's gonna get you Anna." I rolled my eyes sarcastically, "Come on, I'll take you somewhere."
"Bill, I'm fine, really." Being the father figure he was, still didn't take no for an answer. He called Frank over to tell him about us going out for a bit.
"Keep an eye on her Bill, nothing better happen to her." I didn't say anything, for I knew my opinion meant nothing in this matter.
"What are you hungry for?" Bill asked me on our way out to the car.
"I'm not sure, but anything sounds good." Bill chuckled, shaking his head at my answer.
"I keep forgetting how women are when it comes to being pregnant." I glared at him evilly as he started out of the lot. I took in my last few days in the U.S. until this Summer, with pleasure as we passed by the busy cars trying to get through mid afternoon traffic.
"Have you guys decided on any names yet?" Bill asked from the drivers side.
"I'm barely a month in Bill, we won't really think of that until I'm at least seven to eight months." He chuckled before pulling into a drive through for McDonalds.
"What do you want to eat?" I shrugged my shoulders before replying.
"Anything!" I replied with enthusiasm. Bill began to place my order, making sure to get something for Michael as well. Though he eats all of the time, he sure is skinny.
"Here you go!" Bill handed me a big bag filled with the delicious scent of fast food.
