It had been months since the debut of YG's new girl group 'Blackpink' and Lisa was still overwhelmed by the fact, that she got the opportunity to join the group. She worked her ass off while the number of debut line members decreased. Slowly some started to leave.

It felt like day by day one member left until they debuted with four members, not the original nine members. Lisa admitted that there was a piece of her heart that ached while they were performing their debut songs, because she imagined how it would've been with the original debut line up. All nine members were close and treated each other well, but Lisa guessed it was somehow their fate to get seperated... maybe it would turn out to be the best thing to happen?

Of course they still kept in touch and appearently each of them had new plans.

She was genuinely happy about it, but most of all she was glad that she got to debut with three of her closest friends.
Lisa knew business wasn't about clinging on friendships and being too dependent. However letting go off those who helped her through such hard years was something she wouldn't have been able to do.

And besides them just being present, the best feeling was to succeed with them. Just two weeks after their debut they received their first win and set a record for the fastest girl group to do that.

That feeling, when they were standing on the stage and realising what happened, was such a precious memory to Lisa. She would never be able to forget that, never.

"She's obviously zoning out again", she heard Jennie's voice from behind as they were walking to their waiting room backstage. Lisa immediately woke up from her daydreams and just chuckled in response.

"What's keeping you busy in there?", Rosé asked as she side hugged Lisa and pointed at the her head.

Just as Lisa wanted to response Jisoo and Jennie did it instead.

"Nothing exists in there", both of them answered syncronic and high-fived each other right after that. Lisa pouted as usual, but couldn't hold her laughter back. Her eonnies often teased her, however she was used to it and kind of enjoyed the attention she got.

Soon after that Jennie and Jisoo spotted Twice's Nayeon, who seemed to have a lot to talk about with them and since the three of them were close it was a quite normal thing to happen. Of course, Nayeon didn't forget to greet Rosé and Lisa beforehand. Jisoo motioned the maknaes to go without them, which led both of them to continue walking after wishing Nayeon good luck on stage later.

"Seems like we'll be alone for now, Chaeyoung-ah", Lisa told her as she wiggled her eyebrows. Rosé stopped hugging Lisa and started distancing herself instead, making sure to not mess with Lisa. "Don't go, I was just getting started!"

Just as she was about to follow Chaeyoung, she bumped into someone. Luckily, Lisa's instincts alarmed quick and she took a step back while rubbing her forehead, more likely her bangs.

Looking up she immediately knew who stood in front of her, it would've been weird if she didn't. Since it was none other than Bangtan Sonyeondan's Maknae, Jeon Jungkook.

"Ais- I mean... I mean I'm sorry!", Lisa mentally slapped herself for almost cursing in front of him. She didn't know him and so she wouldn't know whether he was trustable. Besides, getting into a controversy just months after debuting is pitiful. Normally Lisa had no problem with preventing herself from cursing, but that time seemed like a rare Occasion.

While awaiting his reaction she bit her lip nervously hoping he would forget what she said.

He also stared at her, more like analyse her facial expression. Then he shook his head, that act got Lisa quite confused.

"Oh, you talked to me?", he asked and didn't look like he cared for the answer at all. Just like she assumed, there were barely people, whose on screen presence was similar to the backstage behaviour. But since Lisa was in no place to judge people, she just ignored the fact that he sounded rude.

"Ah, nevermind, good luck for your performance sunbaenim", she awkwardly answered and slightly bowed.

"Lisa, there you are!", Chaeyoung shouted and came to her. She noticed Jungkook the second she arrived and bowed respectfully. "Nice to meet you, sunbaenim, Blackpink are big fans of Bangtan Sonyeondan"

Why wasn't she there when I needed her?

Jungkook bowed in response, which led Lisa to almost let her jaw drop down to the floor. He had the nerve to bow to Chaeyoung, but not to her?

"Well then we will go now, good luck!", Chaeyoung said so they could seperate their ways. And honestly, Lisa couldn't be more thankful.

After all they got to seperate their ways, but strangely Lisa caught Jungkook glancing in her direction while he went to the other members of his group, who were standing farer in the back.

"Why were you with him Lisa? You know exactly how toxic it can get when female and male idols interact with each other", rosé asked and Lisa noticed the worry in her tone. She knew why rosé was worried and understood it.

They were still rookies, but in order to come this far they sacrificied so many vulnerable things, like their teenager years and quality time with their families. Rosé and her barely get the opportunity to visit their parents, which is why their career is a sensitive topic for them.

Never in a million years was it Lisa's intention to go around to allow people spreading rumours, which would lead Blackpink to get hated on.

"Trust me, this wasn't planned at all. I accidently bumped into him, but apologized afterwards", Lisa answered sincerely. "If anything happens, I will speak to sajangnim myself and accept the punishment"

Rosé stopped and placed both of her hands on Lisa's shoulders, what confused Lisa was that she was smiling while doing that.

"Dummy, this isn't about who gets the blame... I'm just worried, you're our maknae after all"

Lisa knew exactly what her friend meant and couldn't help but appreciate her for that, not only Rosé but all of her eonnies, who watched over her while she was struggling.

Who was Lisa to let something come in her way, now that she was living her dream. She wouldn't let anyone come between her and the things she wants to accomplish with her members.

That's why they trained for so long.

So when she finally reached the waiting room with Rosé, Jennie and Jisoo arrived and they got their make-up done, Lisa promised herself to be more careful next time.

But who knew that being careful wasn't enough?

Lisa's instincts told her that it wouldn't be the last time to experience that kind of situation.

It could've been the fact that she felt his eyes on her through the whole performance, but she blindly assumed that it wasn't the case.
