"I don't really understand this"That was probably the sentence, that lingered the most in Lisa's mind. Whether it was about her past love, her group being on hiatus or simply not falling asleep despite trying hard. There was always a reason for Lisa to overthink and ask questions.
Right now, Jeon Jungkook seemed to act very questionable - at least in her opinion - and it drove her insane that she agreed to go out with him. Since when was it that easy to convince her?
Lisa dearly wished, she would've gone with Jisoo even though family gatherings made her miss Thailand even more than usual. She knew Jisoo's family was quite welcoming and treated her like a part of the family, rather than seeing her as their daughters bandmate. The family members of Blackpink got along with the members in general, which made nearly every place in the world feel like home. When they were in Korea, Jennie's mum or Jisoo's parents treated them like family and if they happened to promote in Thailand, Lisa's parents welcomed them with open arms. Though it was hard to get a chance to promote in Australia - where Chaeyoung's parents still lived - they would always make an effort to call the girls and ask if everything was alright.
Yeah going with Jisoo would have been a way better option than this.
"What is it that you don't understand?", Jungkook asked while facing her and observing the confused, but soft features of her grimace. Deep down he thought, that there was not even one human being comparable to Lisa - to him she was beautiful no matter what kind of expression was written on her face.
Lisa raised an eyebrow and pointed at the River, that was right in front of them.
"We have been watching this sight for half an hour now and you didn't say a single word during that time", she answered honestly and looked at Jungkook to find an explanation, but what she saw was pretty much contrary.
His ears turned into a dark shade of pink and he looked away, to avoid Lisas eyes on him.
The sight of the golden maknae, Jeon Jungkook, blushing was so ridiculous to her, that she couldn't help but crack a smile. Was it even possible to be that shy, but somehow extremely confident as well?
"Well... I figured you'd want to go to a place, that's not too loud", Lisa held in a giggle, when she heard him stutter like a middle school boy. He didn't even turn to look at her again, while explaining himself. "And since Han River isn't that crowded most of the time, I thought you might appreciate a little more silence"
With that Lisas smile broke, because what he said had an important effect on her. Because what he said left an impression.
He cared about her.
But most importantly, he cared about her without even knowing, what was going on inside her. He never asked too many questions, didn't force answers out of her and let her be, just standing by her side. Jungkook would have been able to find out everything if he wanted, but instead he got her out of the inner quarrel and brought her somewhere to find peace. At this point the thought of breaking Jungkook's heart, was even more brutal than it already seemed to be.
For heavens sake... why did he fall in love with the wrong one?
"I missed the part, where you were smiling, can you repeat it?", she didn't even realize, that he already turned around to face her, until she heard his voice.
"How do you know I was smilling? I could've been frowning as well", Lisa asked curiously and now turned her whole body towards Jungkook, who decided to lean his arms on bridge. He laid his head on his arms, without losing eye contact to Lisa.
