"Please make me forget everything, I want to erase the memories hurting me"With that said, she leaned forward, not letting go off Jungkook's face.
And if it wasn't for Jungkook's strong mentality, he might have given in, seeing her plump rosy lips welcoming him. He knew better than that, her welcoming gesture was only temporary and giving in would make both of them suffer in the aftermath.
So he chose, what seemed to be the remaining rational decision to choose. Jungkook took one last glance at her lips, hating to admit that they weren't meant to touch his, as of the moment.
He carefully, without any strong force, pushed her back by her shoulders, causing her to sit on her seat again. She tilted her head, looking at him confused with a hint of tiredness.
"As much as I want this to happen, I can't", he spoke up, after successfully pulling himself together. "You wouldn't want this either"
He hated to reject her, but knowing he would hate it even more to make her feel miserable through regretting, it was the only option. She was much more fragile, than he claimed to know and even the slightest mistake felt like a potential way to break her.
Yes, in order to keep both of them safe, one had to keep a rational mindset.
"What are you talking about?", she murmured, sounding even more tired, but this time hinting towards disappointment. "Am I this disgusting?"
He flicked his finger at her forehead to answer the question and shook his head in distaste. Lisa immediately reached for her forehead under her curtain-like bangs and rubbed it in pain, starting to pout childishly.
"Idiot, don't spread nonsense", Jungkook replied, clearly annoyed by her question. That girl really had a low self-esteem, completely different from her usual strong stage presence. "Who is going to tell her, that taking advantage of drunk people is far from the right thing to do?"
He muttered the question to himself, leaning back on his seat with his arms crossed in front of his chest.
"Don't call me an idiot, when you're the biggest one out of the two of us", she slurred, laying her head down on the table, before closing her eyes.
Jungkook smiled, watching her trying to sleep on something this inconvenient.
"Yeah, I guess you could call me the biggest idiot for many reasons", he leaned forward, rested his elbows on the table and brushed some of her blonde hair strands away, since they kept on bothering her. He halted at some point, slowly stroking her cheek in admiration.
It didn't matter how often he got to see her face up close, the fact that she was beautiful never seemed to falter. Her beauty was something, he would never get over.
"But I don't mind being an idiot, if it's for you", Jungkook whispered, absorbing every detail of her face structure.
Despite feeling all sorts of positive emotions, while staying with Lisa, he couldn't help the sudden rush of disappointment reaching him. Jungkook took his hand back and decided to do nothing, but observe her.
"How come you only notice me, when you're either not in your right mind or I have to do something bold?", he asked sincerely, but already aware that she wouldn't answer him. "Just what do I have to do, for you to see me?"
