There was something about Lisa and money, the possibility of them staying together for long was not guaranteed. Whether it involved food, clothes or make up - she found it nearly impossible, to not spend her money on them. Even now, Lisa was busy scrolling through several online shops to find herself a birthday present in advance - to give exact information, she was searching for more than one present. Lisa was of the opinion, that she deserved to spoil herself a little, especially as her birthday was almost there."By the way, you don't have to throw a tantrum over my birthday, just give me the presents and that will be it", Lisa playfully mentioned, as her members were all busy doing something. Chaeyoung organized a playlist according to the current season while laying on the floor with her feet on the couch, Jennie searched for a cake receipt as she went through the kitchen equipments and Jisoo re-read one of her favourite books.
"Bold of you to assume, that I would waste a single penny on presents"
"Bold of you to assume, that I remembered your birthday"
"Bold of you to assume, that I wouldn't throw a tantrum"
Everyone turned to look at Chaeyoung, who didn't seem to get the issue and just innocently looked back, with her typical confused expression. If it wasn't Chaeyoung, they surely would've made fun of her.
"That... wasn't quite right", Jisoo hesitatingly said regarding Chaeyoung and shook her head sighing.
"You're all so mean", Lisa pouted and confirmed her order, after finding just the right stuff to spoil herself with. No wonder, she was in charge of ordering food most of the time, Lisa spent money without hesitating, because she was confident in her choices and far from stingy. There was no doubt, the girl loved to give everyone several treats, including herself of course. "By the way, eonnie, do you still keep in contact with Taehyung oppa?"
For some reason, Lisa had to think of the Bangtan members and, since Jisoo made friends with them quite fast, she assumed there would still be some sort of connection going on. Aside from her, Jennie should be in contact with Yoongi as well, but then Lisa remembered the time she went on a date with both of them. To put it the nicest way, Jennie wasn't satisfied with the way, the whole day turned out.
Beside that, Lisa noticed Jungkook's strange absence for the passed time. It felt like a long time went through, without her seeing him. Not that she had anything to complain about, it just wasn't typical of him to keep his distance. Even when he wasn't right present, annoying her, he actually made an effort to text her as much as he could.
"Yeah, I do keep in touch with him and Jin Oppa now and then, depending schedules", Jisoo answered, with a smile suddenly creeping up her lips, as she searched for Jennie's facial expression by the mentioning of Bangtan. It was no secret anymore, that she was disappointed in a certain someone. "What about you, Jen, any news from him?"
Jennie's eyes threw daggers at Jisoo, after hearing her comment on something, that still didn't leave her mind. She was so pissed at Yoongi.
"No there's nothing new, just the same friendship crap, that we've been through over and over again", she answered frustrated and practically slammed the refrigerator shut. Chaeyoung silently prayed, the eggs she bought to fry the next morning, made it through Jennie's anger.
"How about confessing already? He's going to be clueless, until you're making your feelings evident", Jisoo advised and rolled her eyes at her. Lisa on the other hand, could sympathize with Jennie.
Although she came to like Yoongi, the guy's first impression on her was, that he appeared slightly unaware of romantic feelings - especially, when they are directed to him. There was some crazy contrast going on between him and Jennie, because she was the type of person to shower her loved ones in love and be aware of all types of feelings - at least she liked to claim so - Yoongi on the other hand was a little more slow paced. Lisa didn't want to blame him, for he seemed to be the type of guy, who wanted security and keeping up with Jennie's tempo was not as easy as it sounded.
"Why do I always have to take a step towards him?", she asked herself rather than her members, but all of them were aware of the question asked. As loving as Jennie was, insecurity was a problem, she dealt with most of the time and the situation wasn't of any help.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!", Chaeyoung blurted out all of the sudden and put both of her hands over her mouth. The other three stared at her in confusion, what would she have to be sorry for?
The atmosphere felt like one, that would be comparable to horror movies, when someone rang their doorbell. All of them exchanged questioning looks, well everyone except Chaeyoung.
"I will answer", Lisa said and already stood up, to move towards the door.
"Jennie eonnie... I might have done something stupid", Chaeyoung almost murmured in fear and after Lisa watched, who rang the doorbell, through the peephole.
Slowly, she turned her head back to the members and moved her mouth to make them aware of, who rang the doorbell.
"Are you kidding me?", Jennie sighed, understanding Lisa right away.
"This is going to be so much fun."
Lisa wished, she could match Jisoo's enthusiasm, but she felt the need to be on Jennie's side this time. The possibility of the whole meeting ending up awkward, was high due to the unsolved matter between Jennie and Yoongi - to be exact, it was Jennie's unsolved matter. Yoongi wouldn't even realize, that there was something up, until Jennie mentions it.
And it wasn't until the doorbell rang for the second time, she realized, they were still standing outside, waiting for her to open the door.
"I'm so sorry, eonnie..."
"I... I want to disappear"
"Let them in, so the show can begin!"
Without giving them the opportunity to ring for the third time, Lisa opened the door. She immediately recognized, just four of the seven being present and assumed some of them were just too busy. No news, Bangtan were full-time workers, Lisa would sometimes ask herself, how Jungkook even managed to text her that often. Well, at least he used to, but for the past four days he has been silent.
Speaking of the devil, it took her by surprise, that he wasn't one of the four to arrive. She thought, he was one to take every chance and not seeing him with his hyungs, was kind of new to her.
Wait...
Why was she wondering about that? He wasn't committed to hang around with them every single time. He was possibly doing stuff by himself, no need to wonder, where he was at.
But despite, getting along with Yoongi, Jin, Jimin and Taehyung, she felt strange not witnessing Jungkook cockily smiling at her while entering the apartment.
