With all the things that've been happening to Lisa lately, there was no other way for her to forget what's on her mind. She had to talk to her mother, there was nothing more relaxing than that for Lisa. Seeing the soft features of her mothers face or simply hearing her lovely voice, all of it was a stress reliever. And every time they talked to each other, they didn't run out of topics. Their conversations were quiet lively and reminded Lisa where she originally came from, it reminded her that she was a human after all. Someone, who lived a peaceful life before. Lisa wasn't sure, if she could endure things as good without her mother. Sure, her members were just like sisters and always available for serious conversations.However... there was this big part in every human's heart, that screamed for a mother's affection. At least Lisa liked to think that way.
In all the years that kept her busy becoming someone people could look up to, as in Lisa from Blackpink, her mother was probably the only one that still wanted no one else rather than her daughter Lalisa. Probably the biggest reason for Lisa to never forget her roots.
She became Lisa in Korea, but her heart was still Lalisa Manoban and Lalisa Manoban loved her home, including her family.
"There's currently not much to do, I have some shootings here and there, but that's it", Lisa was laying on her bed comfortably and watched her mother through the video chat, which they decided to open about half an hour ago. Normally Lisa wouldn't be able to think about missing someone due to tight schedules, but this year seemed different.
It felt like Blackpink didn't debut, there wasn't much going on. Of course they noticed the amount of love from their fans through all the record breaking after releasing the debut MVs, but it wasn't enough. Both, Lisa and her members, agreed that there was not much sense in leaving the fans in the dark. If there happened to be a certain hype around a group, it was the only right thing to promote them even more.
That was part of the reason, why Lisa promised herself, to blow away everyones mind the next time they would have a comeback.
"It's silence before the storm you girls are enduring right now, just have patience it's the key to everything", her mother's voice alone made Lisa smile happily. Without wanting to generalize it too much, there was something soothing, relaxing about a true mother's voice. It had been quite a while, since Lisa last saw her mother, but just seeing her through the laptop was satisfying.
"I guess I'll just have to believe in your words", Lisa responded and took some time to look at her mother. She looked so peaceful.
"Of course, you should! When was I ever wrong?", Lisa knew her mother was just joking, judging by her funny tone, but she wasn't wrong at all. Most of the decisions Lisa made weren't just thought through by her, but also by her mother. The girl liked to hear different perspectives, without claiming other people's decisions too much, and then eventually decided on what to do.
"Yeah... you are right", she just whispered and continued to smile at her mother.
"What's that silent smile about? Normally you are more active in speaking with me", that was when Lisa realized her behaviour and her mother was right. Lisa was a loud person and the person, who talked to her mother didn't seem to be herself.
She assumed it was the frustration of being basically jobless and perhaps someone, that haunted her mind. Lisa was surprised by the fact, that talking to her mother wasn't effective enough to shush those thoughts.
"I just thought about how much I miss you", Lisa said and pouted while looking at the web cam.
That was true, Lisa missed her mother, her family. She always missed them and wished to see them every second, but there were times when thinking about them wasn't as painful as it was now. When Lisa left Thailand, she promised her father that she would be alright and overcome every challenge, no matter what it takes. But then again, a part of her heart was still crying to go home and hug her parents.
